FICTIONAL conference realignment

    Hey guys I was thinking about posting a thread on here today about some cool fictional conference realignment. I remember in NCAA Football 13, me and my cousin would mix around the conferences a lot (after the years of doing it realistically).
    Sometimes a cool thing to do was have a conference with a California division and a Texas division with, of course, California teams on one side, then Texas teams on the other. I thought of this today and wanted to know your ideas about this. I'll post some cool fictional conferences later when I'm further in my dynasty. I put a map of the FBS teams below, if that helps anyone.[​IMG]

    don't appreciate how Louisville is colored blue lol

    I know, I know. It's only because the conferences are color coordinated and it just so happens that Wikipedia decided to make the American conference light blue.

    Big 12:
    North: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Tulsa, Texas Tech, SMU
    South: LSU, Texas, TCU, Texas A&M, Baylor, Houston

    SEC:
    North: Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Kentucky, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Alabama
    South: Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, Miami (FL), Florida, Florida State, South Carolina

    B1G:
    East: Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Indiana, Cincinnati, Louisville
    West: Wisconsin, Illinois, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Purdue, Northern Illinois

    C-USA:
    East: Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, Kansas State
    West: Nebraska, Utah, BYU, Colorado, Colorado State, Boise State

    PAC-12:
    Pacific: Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Arizona, Arizona State
    California: California, USC, UCLA, Stanford, Fresno State, San Diego State

    ACC:
    North: Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Maryland, Rutgers, UConn, Boston College
    South: Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Virginia, NC State, ECU

    Mountain West:
    North: Idaho, Utah State, Nevada, Wyoming, Air Force, UNLV, San Jose State
    South: New Mexico, New Mexico State, UTEP, North Texas, UTSA, Texas State, Rice

    Sun Belt:
    West: Louisiana Tech, UL-Monroe, UL-Lafayette, Tulane, Southern Miss, Arkansas State, Memphis
    East: UCF, USF, FIU, FAU, Troy, UAB, South Alabama

    MAC:
    North: Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Bowling Green, Akron, Kent State

    I'm pretty sure I missed one team but oh well.

    Try some classic conferences. Like the Big 8, SWC etc.

    I would love to see WVA and VT back in the same conference revitalization of the black diamond rivalry

    I like it.
    I think it would be pretty interesting if we could get a dynasty started with new conferences like these. I think it'd be pretty crazy.

    Automatic BCS bids for these conferences could be:
    PAC-12 vs Big Ten in Rose Bowl (Tradition)
    C-USA vs. Big 12 in Fiesta Bowl (I like this idea because it could potentially set-up Nebraska vs Okla/Texas)
    SEC to Sugar Bowl
    ACC to Orange Bowl

    or you could even do it without any automatic bids, I've never tried it but it might work
