Hey guys I was thinking about posting a thread on here today about some cool fictional conference realignment. I remember in NCAA Football 13, me and my cousin would mix around the conferences a lot (after the years of doing it realistically).
Sometimes a cool thing to do was have a conference with a California division and a Texas division with, of course, California teams on one side, then Texas teams on the other. I thought of this today and wanted to know your ideas about this. I'll post some cool fictional conferences later when I'm further in my dynasty. I put a map of the FBS teams below, if that helps anyone.[IMG]

I know, I know. It's only because the conferences are color coordinated and it just so happens that Wikipedia decided to make the American conference light blue.

    PAC-12:

    ACC:
North: Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Maryland, Rutgers, UConn, Boston College
South: Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Virginia, NC State, ECU

    Mountain West:
North: Idaho, Utah State, Nevada, Wyoming, Air Force, UNLV, San Jose State
South: New Mexico, New Mexico State, UTEP, North Texas, UTSA, Texas State, Rice

    Sun Belt:
West: Louisiana Tech, UL-Monroe, UL-Lafayette, Tulane, Southern Miss, Arkansas State, Memphis
East: UCF, USF, FIU, FAU, Troy, UAB, South Alabama

    MAC:
North: Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Bowling Green, Akron, Kent State
South: Ohio, Toledo, Miami (OH), Ball State, Middle Tennessee State, Marshall

    American:

Try some classic conferences. Like the Big 8, SWC etc.

I would love to see WVA and VT back in the same conference revitalization of the black diamond rivalry

    I like it.
I think it would be pretty interesting if we could get a dynasty started with new conferences like these. I think it'd be pretty crazy.

Automatic BCS bids for these conferences could be:
PAC-12 vs Big Ten in Rose Bowl (Tradition)
C-USA vs. Big 12 in Fiesta Bowl (I like this idea because it could potentially set-up Nebraska vs Okla/Texas)
    SEC to Sugar Bowl
    ACC to Orange Bowl

or you could even do it without any automatic bids, I've never tried it but it might work
