Spurs came back out in the 2nd half hungry for more goals, and found them. Giovinco made a cutting run which was met by a Sandro through ball, which he converted past Vermeer. The scoring was completed when Erik Lamela headed home a Paul Pogba cross. Good game, Saltyfishbreath! Good luck finishing out!

Sebastian Giovinco took advantage of a poor back pass from Caceres in the 16', getting to the ball before Buffon could react, and slotting it past his former teammate. Sandro was next to add his name to the scoresheet, receiving a pass from Robben and hitting it in stride from 23 yards. Juventus came out in the second half firing, but Matia Perin, in his debut, kept them at bay. Until Bale played a beautiful long pass to a wide open Llorente, who netted past the young Italian. Arjen Robben put the game to bed with a tap in goal after Sandro created the chance in the box. Good game, ConiglioSG! Good luck!

Sp*rs has been on a roll this season, and the Boss over at White Hart Lane hasn't been afraid to let his rivals know it. On this night, the Gunners were up to the task and unleashed shot after shot on Hugo Lloris, firing 15 shots with all but 3 hitting the target. The Gunners played their style of football, keeping the ball on the carpet and maintaining a healthy 60% possession mark. Mario Balotelli opened up the scoring---climbing the ladder to head Arsenal ahead off of a shipped free kick by Cazorla. Vermaelen doubled the lead right before the half, banging in another header off a Cazorla corner kick. Osvaldo made it 3, blasting one home shortly after the half. Sp*rs fought back, as Holtby got them on the scoreboard, but Osvaldo struck again in the 77th to make it 4-1 and putting the game out of reach. Cazorla and Tevez scored a goal a piece in garbage time, but it wasn't enough as Arsenal took all 3 points against their rivals. After the game the Arsenal head man had this to say:"It is no secret that there is no love lost between that other club from North London and us. They do not like us and we do not like them. Let me be clear, I hate Sp*rs...I hate their mascot, I hate their fans, I hate their stadium, I even hate their physio. If my mother was a Sp*rs fan, I would hate her too. Did the comments before the game fire us up? Of course they did. We might not have performed as well as we wouldve liked against them over the past few matches, but I assure you, we will be up for every game against them going forward." GG electrickeeper Thanks for the friendly trash talking before the game, we needed it

Both sides came out firing, playing an attacking brand of football with Balotelli putting the Gunners in front after 8 minutes. After a stalemate until the half, Traore powered home a header after 63 minutes to tie the match. The Gunners thought they had secured all 3 points after Jovetic was slipped in by Gervinho and dinked home Arsenal's second, but the Gunners were devastated when the Ukrainian side raced past a tired Arsenal defense and tied the match by way of super sub, Adriano. Tough way to lose, but probably a fair result in the end as the match couldve gone either way. GG Michael Woodward

Very entertaining match between two sides who are raring to get a good grip on the Premier League once again. Things got off in the right direction for Liverpool as they showed their level of growth in their passing game. Some nice touches were coming together for the Merseyside outfit which came to fruition in as early as the 12th minute. When Luis Suarez held possession with some nifty footwork just outside the box. While maintaining composure, he spots the run of Assaidi approaching the left side of goal. Suarez shows respect for the intelligent run with a like, beauty of a through ball to the open man who quickly controls and slots a low finesse shot into the far bottom corner of the goal. Just 8 minutes later, it was Suarez again who this time, turned provider into goalscorer. A nice pass came through from midfield to a charging Suarez who latched onto to it with a deft touch. With all eyes on him and 4 defenders within close proximity, he had work to do; but with a brilliant display of some of his highest attributes in balance and agility, he was able to put the defenders to work by turning them inside and out until he creating a bit of space for the far right, top corner finesse shot from just inside the edge of the box making it a swift 2 - 0 for his team. Their tails were up, but the Gunners began to apply pressure and quickly equalized almost from the kick off. Gervinho went on a run from midfield and just as he was about to get closed down, he took advantage of the space that was left behind the oncoming defender, and passed it to Jovetic. Even with Agger right on his back, the turn from Jovetic forced the defender out of contention and left him open for a simple shot in to the back of the net. Following this event, both sides had a number of chances go a begging which perhaps could have been easily converted had the right boots been on today. Jovetic came in with a header from a Santi Cozorla corner 10 minutes before the half.............SAVED by Reina from close range. Balotelli found space inside the box in the 79th minute...........SAVED again from close range as Reina was able to quickly drop to the ground. In the 80th Liverpool came back as Sturridge drew the attention of 3 defenders as he approached the right side of the 18; slotted the ball through the back line to an open Suarez coming through the middle, first times it to the far right low corner............SAVED by the fingertips of Szczesny who will be delighted with the fact that he didn't have enough time to clip his fingernails this morning. Suarez again in the 81st with a similar shot to the same area of goal.......will he get it this time?.....................SAVED again by the Polish keeper who was doing well to keep his boys in the game. At the end of the day, it was a match that would make even the most ardent of football haters take pleasure and a massive sigh of relief and delight for the Home supporters at Anfield. Final scoreline.... Liverpool 2 - 1 Arsenal Liverpool: Suarez 12' Gerrard 20' Arsenal: Gervinho 21'

Blaza Didnt we get two games in this season or not? Could've sworn we drew our first result, or did we even play it?
Mike didn't get back until this week, but nothing's been posted anyways. I've been trying to keep up as best I can, but alas, I can only do so much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
