Well I've started fishing quiet a bit recently and thought I'd get us a thread going showing our catches.

    :(

I've been fishing 4-5 times so far this year, caught 1. It is probably the place where I am going.

Was that all on live bait?
Post some of your favorite lures?

Not live bait, all jigs. I was using some crank bait from walmart & spinners and didn't catch shit, but switched to Mud Minnows Shad bait and started hammerin the fish. Has a jig head in there but not in that picture. They were like 5 for $4 at walmart. Works amazing. Now when I go fish on the Arkansas River we use live shad and skipjack. I caught a couple big cats down there, I'll have to upload a picture sometime of it.

This is 2 weeks ago down on the Arkansas River at a Dam. He weighed at 17 lbs. Boat was too small to get a better picture with him, used shad all weekend and caught a ton of cat, and of course some fucking drum as well.

    Mike E might know

I fish mostly bass, cat, and carp. Pissed that the lily pads have grown in really thick, can't seem to get many hits with toads or senkos. Any suggestions for thick pads?

You catch carp on purpose? We shoot 'em out here.

Yeah, we don't have too many up here and they're tough as hell to catch. 95% of the time I fish for largemouth, though I really want to go after some muskies.

Bass fishing and trout fishing are two of the best. I like deep sea fishing as well but it will destroy you physically.

    I Peench

best bait ever for cat fish is raw boneless chicken breast hosed down with This stuff

Untold numbers of catfish have been pulled from Lake Lewisville and Lake Grapevine with this stuff here in DFW

Set about 6-8 poles up on shore loaded with chicken and that stuff, open can of beer, sit down and enjoy life passin ya by.

I live in Aubrey, so I'll definitely be hitting up Lewisville a lot this summer. I'll have to grab a couple more poles for a set up like that, definitely a more passive type of fishing then I'm used too but it's all good! Full breast or what?

I like to cut it into 1/4s or 1/8s. And yeah, it is a bit more passive than i was used to at first, but man it is relaxing once you get sold on it. I also always have a free pole to cast and actively fish while I'm waiting for the big ones to hit.

I think I really, really enjoy buzzbait fishing. Went yesterday with my brother we caught three all together in about 1.5-2 hours time, great spot and we think there are some larger fish in the place then what we got.

He caught one of of this:

I'll post the pics when I get back to my other place later tonight.

Living on the shores of Lake Erie gives one access to one of the best smallmouth bass fisheries in the world.

This is the largest smallmouth I've caught. It weighed around 7 pounds.
