Florida 2010 Notebook The Gators are coming off a strong spring and summer camp. They feel like they are primed for a big season. John Brantley takes over the keys to the nice car. He will have Demps, Rainey, and Moody back in the backfield. The Gators will look to Deonte Thompson to lead an unproven WR core. Andre Debose needs to be a super sophomore. His freshman year had flashes of brilliance. Aaron Hernandez returns and will be Branltey's security blanket. The Oline stay in tact led by the Pouncey Twins. Carlos Dunlap is the new "Freak" he will be joined by William Green at DE. Green beat out Duke Lemmens for the starting job although Dan McCarney (D-line coach) says they are fairly equal talent wise. The strength of the Florida team is their interior linemen. They are big, nasty, and good. AJ JOnes, Brandon Beal, and Brandon Hicks will start at LB. Look for Jon Bostic and Jelani Jenkins to get in the mix as well. Arguably the top secondary in the country stay in tact this season. Joe Haden and Janoris Jenkins are superstars. Major Wright is viewed as many as the top FS in the country skill wise. Will Hill has overtaken Ahmad Black for the team's starting SS job. Special Teams will be a strength with both kickers returning and Andre Debose and Chris Rainey handling return duties.
