    Florida Game Summaries

    #21 Florida (35) @ #15 Alabama (14)

Florida used 2 defensive TD's and a Kick return to get past the Crimson Tide. The Gator offense was pretty much non existent after the 1st quarter. Only able to rack up 200 total offense, 101 rushing 99 passing, the Bama defense was tough all game. Injuries plagued Bama as they lost Star Jackson early in game and RB J. Mitchell.

    FLorida Stats
    J. Reed 9-11 99 yards
    M. Gillislee 18 carries 72 yards 2 TD
    J. Bostic 10 tackles 1 sack 1 FF
    E. Okine 7 tackles 3 sacks

    Alabama Stats
    S. Jackson 1-1 72 yards 1 TD
    J. Mitchell 9 carries 51 yards
    K. Kelly 2 rec 117 yards 1 TD
    B. Moore 4 tackles 2 sacks

    Mitchell will be back.
Jackson gone 4 weeks, Burns gone 6 weeks.

The big one to me is Burns the wr out for 6 weeks. He is only a soph but he is far and away my 2nd best wr with big dropoffs after him.

The replacements are not ready and once Gray got in the game, caught a 20 yd pass and fumbles returned for six.
Good game dirty. I wasted the momentum of the goaline stand. Total forgot Jackson was out. did not want a safety cause the goal of the pick six play was to run. When i saw how slow he was moving it hit me its the back up and i tried to fire it in and hope kelly could make a play before i got run down.

With No experienced dual threat qb, only 2 wrs, a bunch of underclassman on online and LB, these sliders, and 5 more road games i see a long season ahead and here is hoping for 7-5 right now.

    #4 LSU (21) @ #13 Florida (31)

LSU gets the ball first and puts together a great drive, ending it with a R. Randle 44 yard TD pass. Florida answers with their own drive, with M. Gillislee punching in a 1 yard TD run. 2nd quarter both defenses played better. Only score was a Hicks FG at the end of the half. 10-7 Florida.

Gators strike 1st in the 2nd half on a TD pass to J. Walker. 17-7 Gators. LSU returns the ensuing kick for TD only to have be called back for clipping. Later in the drive R. Shepard gets picked off by J. Bostic. LSU gets back with 3, when Loston returns a fumble 83 yards. Florida again puts together a great drive and scores at the end of the 3rd. 24-14 Gators. J.Jenkins pick 6 puts the Gators ahead 31-14. LSU gets a late TD rec by C. Tolliver.

    South Carolina (32) vs #10 Florida (42)

The Gators came out sluggish on defense, as USCe scored on their opening 2 drives. Jordan Reed was again brilliant going 19-29 302 yards 4 TD 1 INT. Mike Gillislee did his thing on the ground getting 87 yards and 2 TD. TJ Lawrence continued his Heisman campaign catching 8 balls 141 yards 2 TD

Flordia has some real concerns on defense. I dont think Coach Dirty's 3-4 scheme is working well. For this team to be competitive the D must get a whole lot better.

First off excuse the restart, my nephew tripped on the ethernet cord.

    M. Gillislee fumbling problems continue, as Georgia takes the early led 7-0. Florida then reels off 28 unanswered points; TJ Lawrence TD rec, F. Hammond TD rec, Gillislee TD run, and 2 FGs. Georgia then answers with 14 cutting it to a 6 point lead late in the 4th. A Florida TD and 2 pt conversion put the game out of reach for the Bulldogs.

    Florida Stats

    M. Gillislee: 24 carries 78 yards 2 TD
