Week 6 Florida prevails in first true test for Coach Nachos New coach SuperBowlNachos knew he was going to have a battle on his hands, luckily a couple big defensive players early boosted them to victory. LSU got the ball first, but fumbled inside their own 20 and Florida gave the ball to Tim Wright who took it on for a 4 yard score. On the very next drive, same result for LSU. Another turnovers, this time an interception again in their own redzone. Wright again took it in this time from 6 yards out for an early 14-0 lead. The scoring would keep on going. Ending the first quarter UF was up 28-14. In the second LSU would get within 7, but could never stop UF from getting into the endzone and UF took a 42-28 halftime lead. The second half would be completely different, UF backup QB was in after the starter went out with an injury and ran 79 yards on the first play to within the 5. Wright would take it in again for his 6th touchdown of the night and the final nail in the coffin. Wright ended the game with 155 yards and 6 touchdowns on only 14 carries. The UF Qbs only had to throw the ball 12 times.
