Word out of Purdue University is that Rob Henry will finally get some significant snaps in the final two games of the season.

Purdue has to win out to become bowl eligible. Henry adds athleticism to the QB position but is not as polished of a passer as Robert Marve.

Sources say Coach Sdid want Henry to get 40-50 throws total in the final 3 games.

Word out of UCLA is that the Athletic department is growing restless with the performance of the Bruins. After a successful season last year, Jam. has the Bruins under .500 and though it seems that he will be kept on the job for another year, an embarrassing performance in his final games of the season may prove costly to his job security.

There is word out of Iowa that C.J. Fiedorowicz has been working out at WR in the off week. This follows the season ending injury to top wideout, Marvin McNutt. C.J. has been working as an outside receiver in 3WR formations and is expected to see some time out there in the coming matchup with tOSU. In normal two back sets, Keenan Davis and Rudy Cade will be working at WR.

Coach sdid is being pressured to change the offensive and defensive coordinators for Purdue. He is at odds with the AD and Boosters.

Coach Sdid has been forced to atleast seek out and talk to possible OC's for next season. Word is he traveled and talked to rich rodriguez who wants to get back into football.

Coach Sdid talked the admins into keeping his OC. Sdid heads into the final year of his contract and is on the hot seat to say the least. Fans and Boosters love the 4-1 record vs rival squads but the 0-6 record vs the top 25 leaves much to be desired. It will take a bowl birth and a top 25 win to keep his job we are hearing.

Sources say that Coach Sdid has been wanting to move to warmer temperatures. He is dedicated to Purdue, however the fact that UCLA only has an interim head coach at the time has raised his eye brows.

Badgers go a different route at QB this year:
    #5 Jon Budmayr
Wisconsin goes with JR QB Jon Budmayr to start the season. Budmayr is more accurate throwing the football than Curt Phillips but doesn't have the power as Phillips. "We looked at those two all spring and Budmayr showed that he can be very efficient throwing the ball and thats what we are looking for this year." said Coach G-Force-28. The Badgers open up this week @ Camp Randall against the University of New Mexico Lobos. Also a few Badgers will be rocking different numbers this year. Runningback James White gets the coveted #2 and Manassah Garner will be donning #1.
