    Fellow HKer's

You just THOUGHT you were finished with Free Agency! As many of you know alot of players are still left in the Market. I thought with two extra days, this would be a legitimate time to start another phase of Free Agency.

Except this time it is going to be different.

    Here are the rules:

    • There will be a separate spreadsheet based on what you have available to spend. (This number is your Salary Cap - your Rookie allotment)
    • I will create a spreadsheet with the top 50 FAs left on the market. It will list there Name, Pos, Ovr, and Market Value. (If you want to bid on someone else you have to include them in the PM).
    • To find seperate FAs, Log onto the console and look through Free Agency Recap. Once you dismiss it, then I cannot help you.
From this point you will have the tools necessary to place bids on Free Agents. This is how you do it:
Start a PM with Myself and ryty32 involved. (I will send my bids right now to Ry and Diddy, Ry will send his bids to Myself and Diddy ASAP). Diddy81 will need to send his bids to Ry and Myself ASAP.
    • You will send me 1 PM regarding which FAs you are bidding on. You have to bid AT LEAST the minimum market value.
    • You are not allowed to bid more than you have
    • If you bid on multiple players, they must add up to what you have left to spend according to the document.
    • If you bid on multiple players and you go over. We will only take bids on the players listed until you are out of money.
    • YOU ONLY HAVE 1 PM TO BID. So please put all the FAs you are bidding on in this PM.
After you won the bid, you will be able to sign the FA after the draft and prior to Preseason. Initially it is only for a 1 year deal, but you will have the first rights to resign the player next offseason.
    Example of a PM:
    Team: Cowboys
Available to spend : 11.8 Million
    Bids:
    FB G.Jones - 2.50M
    K N.Kaeding - 3.0M
    Total Bidding: 5.5M

Please spend wisely. The FA PMs cannot be sent before 6 PM CT tomorrow. This will allow ryty32, Diddy81, and myself to get our bids locked in so there is no issues. Also, do not discuss our bids with anyone, otherwise it is your own fault for losing that player.

This FA will end on Saturday Night at 6 PM Ct.

Out of curiosity, what happens if there are tying winning bids? I.E. 2 teams happen to bid $16.5 mil on Peyton Manning and that is the highest bid.

Would bid money change whether one moves up/down in draft?

Just so you know, the Rams only have 6.23 million in cap space. So obviously I won't be claiming anyone.

To rephrase this Buffalo rookie reserve is 4.60 million, not 5.85 million

So would than mean Salary cap space minus rookie reserve now equals
    10.76 - 4.60 = 6.16 million left

The rookie reserve can change. Yours changed when you traded out of the #10 pick.

I was not disputing it changed because of the trade. I was mainly asking for the way bidding is supposed to be, or at least the way I understand it. Hence the equation I posted with the post.
