FREE AGENCY OPEN... BLIND BIDS; GOLD MEMBER PREVIEW DEADLINE = SATURDAY, NOON EST

Free agency is now open for blind bids. All bids must be sent to the premiermaddenfootball@gmail.com address by SATURDAY at NOON EST. Remember to use the ONLINE roster to determine which free agents are available and use the OFFLINE file to determine what their contract requirements are. As usual, an updated offline file is available on the XFN site.

*NOTE: DO NOT BID ON HB GLENN COFFEE, LT EPHRAIM SALAAM, MLB DAVID BOWENS, ROLB AARON SCHOBEL, OR HB THOMAS JONES PIERCE AS THOSE PLAYERS HAVE RETIRED!!!

GOLD MEMBERS: If you want to use your free agent preview privilege to see the bids for a particular free agent, you must submit your request in confidence to the premiermaddenfootball@gmail.com address. PLEASE MAKE THE SUBJECT OF YOUR MSG "GOLD MEMBER PREVIEW: [PLAYER POSITION, PLAYER NAME]". In turn, we will inform you the highest contract offered for the free agent requested once the bidding deadline expires at NOON on SATURDAY. Gold members will then have the option to submit a higher bid if they so choose on the free agent that they previewed ONLY. The deadline for Gold member preview bids will be SATURDAY at MIDNIGHT EST.

Please visit the UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT RULES before submitting any bids. Thank you!

    Doug and Eddie

OLB/DE Michael Johnson has been added to the FA pool. If you place a bid on him, you must specify which position he will be playing and specify the contract terms based on that position as he is about 30M more at the DE position. To do so, edit him offline and change his position to DE to see what his contract terms will be if that is the position you will be playing him at.

Also, for those of you who are new to the process, if you are bidding on a rookie player you will need to find a player of similar overall rating offline and use that player's demands to determine the contract terms you will need to offer. If you are bidding on a rookie, in the body of your message please specify which player that you are using offline to designate the contract terms.

    I have a quick question.

In the title of this thread & at the beginning of the body it states FA blind bidding closed at Noon est today but in the steps of the blind bidding process it states bidding closes at 10pm est tonite.

And of course when I read the complete thread, I left with the thinking that bdding will be open till 10pm est, so I havent sent bids in as of yet.

Is it too late for bids?

that was my error. go ahead and send in your bids now Jeremy, but it would need to be on players that haven't received bids or you'd have an unfair advantage.
