RynoAid and BlyGilmore Is it possible to cut a FA acquisition before the regular season if they don't cut it in the preseason. I know we have to sign our FA to an additional year but what if they don't perform as expected before the season begins? I will sign em all if we have to but I was just checking for a ruling before making any more cuts in the preseason. Thanks guys.

My understanding is that free agents that u picked in the draft will have to be two years. Itwas commitment for drafting.

For free.agents signed after draft in the free for all phase, u can cut as u please.

So it looks like the 2 year contract is only for the one player each of us drafted and not the free agents we pick up after the draft?

anybody you picked in the draft was a 2 year commitment. you can't cut them.

you're free to do whatever you want with other free agent signings.
