I've had the new mother and brother-in-laws in town this week since they drove all of the wedding gifts down to Atlanta from Michigan. It's funny, I didn't even get a card from any of you cheap bastids!

I'm pretty sure Jello's just been playing his offline dynasty, and I'd guess Randy has been working on his fist pump for the weekends, but what about the rest of you guys?

I decided to buy a new house. I've been packing at the old house and will be painting at the new house on Saturday. We're renting the old house out, so once we move out I've got a few projects here I'll need to take care of before my tenants move in.

I only send wedding gifts to people who actually invite me to their wedding. If I'm not important enough to you to get an invite, you're not important enough to me to warrant a card/gift.

But I'll compromise and give you a gift once we resume and NU and UW get to play.

LOL. I'd be more than happy with a pick six. Seemingly defense and special teams is the only way I can get points on the board lately.

Yeah, I looked into it pretty seriously about 6 years ago, but couldn't find a good property to buy. With the real estate market as shitty as it is for sellers (and as unbelievably great for buyers), we couldn't take the loss on the house when we could just use other people's money to pay for it. I already found awesome tenants, after less than a week on craigslist.

I meant I'd give you a 56-0 beat down, but a 56-7 beat down is ok I suppose. Lol

Yep. I'm playing the hell out of my offline dynasty. I started it 2 weeks after we began the OD and I just finished my 3rd season last night. I'm really loving custom conferences. After this season I'm having UCF (C-USA), Southern Miss (C-USA) and Miami (MAC) join the Big East to take them up to 12 teams and hopefully give TCU some competition and I"m moving BSU (MWC) and Nevada (MWC) to the Big 12 to get them to 12 teams. Before making changes like that I always save as a different name and sim a couple of seasons ahead to make sure I'm not breaking things and everything looks good.

Other than that, I'm working my ass off as always.

I am starting another OD with my friends because our one we are in is at Week 14 and its all recruiting. In that one i'm Ohio University and i just STOLE a 5 Star HB who has A speed, A acceleration, and B+ agility from Penn St. Was probably the highlight of last night after sleeping all day. Our new OD is either gonna be Sun Belt or the shit teams in the Big 12 or ACC.

Also have been working for a hearing and breathing company where we go to factories and check their mask fitfactor and their hearing. Making some good money through that. Other than that I'm just making music with my friends and being a bum before Cincinnati starts back up

Nothing, played a little of my offline dynasty but not much. Wifes grandmother passed away monday so we had the whole redneck family deal going on for 3 days. That was interesting.

    I'm sorry to hear that.

In-laws are an interesting bunch though especially if you have 2 extremes on each side. My wife's father's side of the family is full of a bunch of belligerent alcoholic assholes, while her mother's family is a bunch of evangelistic bible thumpers. Mix that with the Italian/Puerto Rican bunch that is my family, and it makes for one interesting group. Needless to say not everyone gets along.

I've got my nephew's birthday party to go to, so I am going to do the same. Not to sure how beer is going to react with my pain meds, but I'm guessing it isn't going to be a bad thing.

There were some cool coaching changes after year 3 in my dynasty. Mack Brown was canned after a 4-8 season and Texas brought in Miss. St's OC. That spread offense combined with the horses that Texas can recruit should be a lot of fun! Closer to home, Purdue dumped Danny Hope after 3 years in the cellar of the B1G and dropping them to a :1stars: and signed the OC from Louisville. Louisville has a fun spread pb that I used from time to time in '11.

Here's my favorite though. Minnesota dumped their coach and brought in a coach from Navy so they're going to be running the fleXbox One now. To make matters even better, their #1 QB has 84 SPD/88 ACC so they've even got a kid that can run it right off the bat (although I'm curious to see what kind of QBs they're able to recruit with their :2star: ass.

He will be fired after this season if he doesn't win 6 games. I would have fired him after last year but don't have enough $$ to force the AD's hand lol.

I just checked Purdue's record and they weren't in the cellar in 2011 (5-7) but the last 2 years they've gone 1-11.

    Ouch!

Ya, that leaves everyone at Purdue saying "When does basketball season start??" about midway through October.

Although, we have a kid named Austin Applebee who went to the Elite 11 QB camp and did pretty well. He's due in for the 2012 season, so here's to hoping he becomes the next Drew Brees!!

I guess things are looking up for the bottom of the the B1G teams. Indiana snags Gunner Kiel and from what you say purdue has a good qb coming in. I still can't believe Kiel picked Indiana over all the other schools that were coveting them, I guess playing time really meant more to him than being in a good program.

Kiel's brother is at IU right now. I think his uncle played there as well. So he was probably raised an IU fan for sure. After that, Kevin Wilson must have sold him saying he could turn him into Sam Bradford or Landry Jones. I watched some of his game last night on ESPNU and he definitely has a strong arm with some athleticism to make a few yards if no one is open.
