    Friday night free for all!

    Here's what I'm thinking.

Four guys round robin. Four guys on, two games playing simultaneously, then switch after the game is completed. Do this for three games and everyone gets to play everyone.

Unfortunately I have already played all my games against the Mets and the Orioles, so I can't do a round robin with them.

We can go with a start time of 9:30-10 pm est.

to sign up just post below.

    FnFa: Teams
    1) Reds
    2) Brewers
    3) Tigers
    4) Red Sox

Papa, is there anyone that you've played all your games against?

I'll put you on, and if we get two more guys interested, one of those guys will be a standby.

    So, one spot left.

So far here's what we got in our FnFa...

    Reds (7-8)
who just recently pulled ahead of the Phillies by 0.004 for the 2nd and final spot in the playoffs... don't get two dramatic, both teams just crossed the 1/4 mark in the season.

    Brewers (6-14)

Currently sitting butnaked last in the NL... but will play their first of 3 games versus the Reds, so they could take their first step from butt naked last to playoff contender this Friday.

    Tigers (19-12)
Just by shear mass of games played they're considered #1 in the AL West, but by win percentage sitting third in the AL West, and 5th in the AL, .007 behind the White Sox for the last spot in the playoffs.

    Series:
Only Brewers and Tigers have played and the Brewers won the first and only game played in the series, as only the 8th inning saw scoring in this 2-1 defensive battle.

    Overall look for FnFa:
Well with a Butt Naked Last team, and teams fighting for the last spot in the playoffs with more then half the season to go, it's clear this ones not going to be broadcasted as must see TV... but hell, if you've been to a recent Pirates game, you do realize that if a baseball game is played and no ones around to see it, the Pirates still get the loss. :D

Looks like I'm on and Papa Perry... seeing that I just finished watching the Penguins game, I'm assuming that's what Clutch was waiting for too, so Clutch should be on in a few.

    Good first game.

Brewers-Reds were tied 3-3 going into the top of the 9th. Reds send in a pinch hitter with guys on 1st and 2nd... then the pinch hitter sends it out of the park.

    Reds win 6-3.

    Not the Brewers night.

Sox and Brewers go into the top of the 9th tied 0-0... The the Sox string together a couple of runs for the victory.

    Red Sox win 2-0.

Reds-Sox, Reds get a run in the top of the sixth to break a 0-0 tie. Later in the bottom of the eight the Reds force a play at home when the Red Soxs hit a ball to the 2B with runs on second and third, leading to a tag at home plate to preserve the lead.

Reds add two more runs in the top of the 9th and go on to win.

    Reds win 3-0

Thanks to Papa and Clutch for the participation. Altogether there were 3 very well played baseball games.

    On the night
    Reds went 2-0
    Red Soxs went 1-1

    Brewers went 0-2
on two heartbreaking losing efforts thanks to the top of the 9th.

No worries, by the time I saw you were ready to go you may only have gotten in the one game. Papa looked like he was itching to go back to NCAA, so I don't think he would have been in the mode to play the third game, and I think clutch went to bed after we finished our game... well I should have gone too, in fact I was going to bed but then I found myself pouring over BackBreaker reviews...
