    Agreed.

I'm petrified to take my racing outside of the career mode right now though. Not only because of my lack of cars, but also the fact hat remembering how to drive is going slow haha

Me, Ryno, Helli, and DirtyDawg had a few races last night. It was fun and everyone was a little rusty. We ran on the Top Gear track and it was good because no one was familiar with it.

I'll be on and around for sure (I had to remember HOW to shift....what the hell? lol). I don't mind taking arse whoopings, its just the lack of cars that is killer for me right now.

And remembering how to tune things...etc etc etc.

This will eat my NCAA time though methinks. Much more enjoyable.

Just power through career mode. I was able to get up to level 8 pretty quickly last night.

I think I'm up to level 12 or 13 in career mode.

But I need to get a new controller. Literally snapped my right trigger last night...

Nah. I was trying to fix it because it was getting a dead spot in it, and usually if I pull on it, it sets itself right. But I pulled on it, and instead of fixing it, it snapped.

Doesn't deserve its own thread so I'm hijacking this one, but this is my first ever #1 - It's R1 Class on the ring.

And there's no way in hell it lasts through the rest of today.

Are we going to have a Car Club for the site? (Saw the tags, guessing that means car club name)

Probably not. Just based on the fact that most of the guys here will play this one for a few months and then move on.

(Does not mean that somebody wouldn't be welcome to start one, of course).

Well I am happy that Forza 4 allowed me to import stuff from my Forza 3 Profile. I was worried b/c it was banned due to buying credits that it would have been flagged but it wasn't. They gave me like 15-20 cars and 60K credits. I also got some unicorn car but I have no idea which car that is. I imported all my liveries as well. I think it is time to delete my forza 3 shit and sell that game.

I'm kind of ticked off that my Forza 3 file got the whole corrupted data thing when I bought a new HDD now.

See that is the thing Forza isn't a "I'm better than you" type of game, unlike NCAA where you're sort of going 1 on 1 and get punked straight across.. In this game we wanna help people have fun and learn to drive better, and even the people that are new to the game have somebody else to compete against etc... I know there ARE some people that just can't have fun if they can't win... (there was a post on another board where a bunch of people literally said that they stopped playing the game because they would jump in and get hammered by me...) Two of the people that said that had DESTROYED ME FOR YEARS IN SOCOM and I never fucking quit that, but they couldn't hack coming in 2nd in Forza.

But IMO Forza is a game for everybody, if you can't drive well you may be able to paint, or have a knack for tuning, or simply have fun collecting cars and paints that people do on the storefront etc... There's a lot to it.

Helli is the ultimate tutor...one time when I first got Forza 3 he slowed down around a track to let me follow him and see which lines to take. He's like the Forza Godfather.

Agreed I would not be able to drive as well as I do if it wasn't for Helli and the rest of the guys here. There is something really sweet when every one races a good clean hard race and we all finish with in 10 secs of the leader.

I'm tempted to ask for some pointers now. I mean, I'm not bad at all, but I have a tendency to drive a little too aggressive at times (especially with the AI blocking the hell out of me).

I've never been a hot lap person. Never really enjoyed running qualifying laps.

But yeah, whenever people are on and racing, I'd like to get in on some.
