Thanks man! A few things I have wanted to add are:

    1) An average OVR ranking of a GBN commit Ex, our average recruit is #1087.
    2) spotlight on the top OVR commit (which I believe, is your ATH) and the worst OVR commit (probably from EMU but may or may not be listed).
    3) I want everyone to report what each of their commits came in ranked. I love getting on Rivals.com and looking at old classes.

    Recruiting class of 2010

    Banner, David
DT 64 Freshman 6'6" 273 lbs Edinburg, TX

    Timberlake, Justin
    K 64 Freshman 5'11" 193 lbs Mercedes, TX

    James, Rick
WR 62 Freshman 5'11" 189 lbs Circleville, OH

    Clancy, Tom
LG 62 Freshman 6'2" 296 lbs North Madison, OH

    Mayfield, Curtis
FS 60 Freshman 6'3" 187 lbs Huber Heights, OH (Converted to FS from CB. He's the CB stolen from NIU.)

    Daniels, Charlie
MLB 56 Freshman 6'1" 231 lbs Saline, MI

    Beck, Glenn
TE 54 Freshman 6'3" 257 lbs Fayetteville, WV

    Campbell, Luke

Of this class, I did cut a 3 star power HB because he was an 82 spd. I have enough slow RBs already.

    That's awesome Roady!!

But....I was referring to the classes we are working on right now. I don't have the info I want from last year (pos rank, ovr rank, caliber).

Basically I wanted to have a sticky thread where I'll post each commit from a class, his rankings and caliber, what ovr rating he came in at. We can then post their ratings from freshman to senior year.

I'll post a mock table of what I'm thinking of when I get back from the football game tonight if I get time.

Oh, got it. That would be wicked. The EA online rosters make this so much easier than last year. I'll be glad to do my part for this piece.

    Thanks Mike.

Yeah, the online rosters are pretty sweet but there is one thing that bugs me. Sometimes the position rank is actually the position you have them on your board. Say you are the recruiting the #4 DE and have him #7 on your board, when you check out his ratings it will say #7 DE. Not a big deal to some but I enjoy the projected rating/real rating and accurate position rankings are important.

Another thing to consider is the new recruits that are generated during offseason recruiting. That's gonna bump all the rankings. I really don't think it's worth changing every player's ranking just for perfect accuracies stake.

I wondered about that. When those offseason recruits are generated, does anyone know if those ratings of the overall class or just what's left when they are generated? Now this is way too detailed for me, and is where I get off the spreadsheet train, but was curious. In fact, I wouldn't edit your work at all. Just let the players hold what ever number they have.

Kinda like how the big time programs will often have two guys with the same number. So the CB and the HB are #2? Whatever, they both can be on the same field at the same time.

Anyway, our booster club met last night and they are very disappointed in the current state of our recruiting. Look for an aggressive marketing campaign to begin. We are generating some additional "Spirit Squad" campus guides for late season visits and overal recruiting assitance. Please don't use the term fluffers anymore. The acutal fluffers in the audio/visual department do not like being associated with the Spirit Squad since losing the baby oil olymipcs last year.

Man if we can get the offseason done by the middle of next week or so, I could definitely get it done. I took vacation all week and have absolutely nothing to do except a few minor home repairs/improvements. Plus, from where the woman just graduated and got a big girl job 2 months ago, she hasn't been at her job long enough to haven taken vacation with me. She's working....I'm not. :)

Anyway...I'm gonna do that mock table tomorrow after work and that TITANIC matchup of 2-3 Tennessee vs 1-4 Georgia.

A little late but, this is what my idea would look like. These are fictional #'s using Roady's 2011 class he provided.

    CLASS OF 2011

    MIAMI REDHAWKS

NAME POS CALIBER POS RANK OVR RANK FRESH RS FRESH SOPH JUNIOR SENIOR
    David Banner DT :3stars: #35 #709 64 - 68 70 -
    Justin Timberlake K :3stars: #4 #763 62 - 64 67 -
    Rick James WR :3stars: #56 #1003 62 64 68 - -
    Tom Clancy G :2stars: #54 1145 62 - 63 65 -

It would be updated every year so we can track how our guys progress as well as watch other teams. It may seem huge but I really dont think it will be that bad if you guys can get me the initial ratings.

    Cool, cool.

Guess that means Future Stars will now have to be a complete catalog of all recruits. Good thing I'm on vacation. May drop CPU teams just to save a little work.

No reason to track CPU teams. In fact, if any coach drops, you should drop the team, too. New coach, new recruits, etc.

Onaradio this is a great idea no doubt. But when i looked at the time needed to do this i thought maybe if we did our top 5 recruits not them all.Just an idea.

Or better yet do a blank template with the table without the
    Column 1
and we can fill our teams in for you then private message it back to you. That way you can post it in one thread.
