So who else besides me has a game recorder that enjoys doing highlight reels?
I have an Elgato for streaming but do not enjoy the time it takes to compile a highlight reel.
yeah it used to take me forever. ive cut done editing with the el gelato to about 20 minutes......
What's your secret? I have an elgato, and I'm not a fan of the 3 hours to edit.
I just snip the shit i want to eliminate. The first one i did took forever but ive gotten more proficient....here is some of my work.....(i try to keep vids < 7 min)
I used I movie for some of the effects this one took a little more time
I love doing highlights and it takes me about 30 minutes. The longest part about the process is rendering
You might need to show me a thing or two.
I have a PVR 2. Takes me about 15 minutes to edit it down if I am doing just scoring plays/turnovers. I will be streaming every TMFL game I play live and highlights as well if I have time.
No worries would it help if I did some screen shots? Danthraxxx you got anything to add to help rand In addition to screen shota
Definitely, appreciate it.
I have not used the El Gato S/W in forever , I was importing it to Final Cut Pro so I could add in music and what not. I will fire it up here soon again and see how it is.
I do and will be streaming games...don't have time to do highlight films as well...
The game videos are good enough on Twitch if you choose to save em there.
I highly contemplated getting a hauppage, but I feel like I would quickly tired of editing. I'm not sure $130 is worth just to stream some games that one or two people would watch at most.
I had atleast 5 watching meaningless madden games, but could have been launch hype
With the Xbox one will it work with that? It only shows the el gato for Xbox 360 and PS3 when you look at it.
I highly doubt it , I've seen nothing about any 3rd party hardware / accessories so far
HDMI out? I see no reason why it couldn't, just a software update.
That's obviously contingent upon MS allowing that to happen.
Well I know TB headsets are not going to be compatible FWIW
Depends on what type.
If you have the two headsets that I've had from TB, you'll be fine. They connect to the output from your TV, not your Xbox. MS can't control what outputs you're connecting to on your TV so unless you're plugging directly into your Xbox you should be fine. I use my TB's on both my TV and my PC.
Doesn't the xbox1 have a built in PVR that allows you to record and stream?
no mention of how one can edit though , do you really want to watch 1.5 hours of TMFL for highlights ?
only if it is of Keller and his masterful play
you spelled cheese wrong
Havent forgotten you. Swamped at work bud
No rush, none at all.
