    Florida Gators 14 @ #18 Minnesota Golden Gophers 28

The Gophers faced a tough task tonight. They faced off with a gritty SEC opponent in the Florida Gators. We were up to par in this game giving our program its 10th win of the season. The Gophers defense played lights outs. Shutting down the Gators and holding them to only 177 yards on offense. The Gophers shattered the Gators in the 1st down category 15-4. The story of the game on offense was Jonathan Pittman. Mr. Pittman went 34-98 with 2 touchdowns. While those aren't the best of numbers, stat wise, he carried the team with his enthusiasm and toughness. His first game back after being out for about 4 games, the first quarter was dreadful. Everywhere he turned, them Gators were doing that damn chomp(shot to my Gator brothers). However, the second half was a different story. He showed why he was regarded as the true diamond in the rough his freshman year. Pittman is being begged to come back next year. Hopefully, he does. His numbers have dropped immensely since his freshman year when he went for 1,546 yards on 267 carries with 22 rushing touchdowns. He has combined for that in his past two seasons combined.

The Golden Gophers end the season on a good note. They look to take the Big Ten over next year. Believe me, they are finally ready.

The #22 Wisconsin Badgers snuck away with a win in the Insight Bowl after a recent coaching change. Coach Frisk, fresh off a losing season at Oregon state, came into Madison with the mindset that he was going to take Wisconsin to the top of the Big 10. Wisconsin has been a very strong team but has not had the coaching needed to boost them to a Big 10 Conference Championship.

Frisk's first order of business was to seal a bowl victory against Kansas State who went 5-3 in the Big 12. Wisconsin seemed to be slightly troubled with Frisk's coaching and playcalling. The went into the locker room up 13-7. Kansas Scord quickly and made it into a incredible game. Wisconsin managed to milk the last 2 minutes of their final drive, which would end in a FG with 3 seconds left on the clock. Wisconsin kicked off to Kansas state and smothered them sealing them a bowl victory.

The Badger offense was led by Erik Smith who had 30 touches for 184 yards and 2 TD's. He will be missed but the Badgers will look forward to backup RB Montee Ball. Senior QB Curt Phillips threw for 106 yards off of 10 completions. His main targets were TE Jason Leslie and WR Byrner who both caught 2 passes.
Wisconsin's defense played well forcing 3 turnovers. LB Fenton led with 6 tackles and 1 interception. Kelly, Groff and Smith all added 1 sack. CB Cromartie added 1 interception. LB Mcneal recovered a fumble for a TD.

The #22 Wisconsin Badgers and Newly hired Coach Frisk will now look to extend Wisconsin's win streak of 4 next year, but in the meantime they will be concerned with offseason recruiting needs.

    #4 Michigan vs #5 Cal

Cal came into this game looking to continue their 11 game win streak but had to face a very talented Michigan team. Both teams were driving the ball down the field but this game was ultimately decided by turnovers. Cal had 4 Michigan had 5.

    Final 28-21

This pass to the fullback was an accident. Meant to pass to the WR crossing in front of him but thankfully it worked out. haha

My FB trucks the first defender but gets rocked by the 2nd who jars the ball loose which is then picked up for the TD. Game tied 21-21

This 20 yard run in the 4th QTR by Debo DeBoskie sealed the win for Cal. Cal had trouble running against Michigan the whole game. Late 3rd QTR the Cal OL finally started to give Debo some room.
