The winner of each game (or user if playing the CPU) must post a short game summary following their game. The summary must include the following:
    • Game Score
    • Key Team Stats
    • Key Individual Stats
    • Notes
This can be as basic or as simply as you would like to make it. However, the more engaging the posts are, the more invested other users will be in this thread and the league in general. Its up to you how much effort you want to put into it.

Here are some links to help out your summaries:
    Have fun!

Patriots handle Jets to grab a share of first in AFC East.

A pump up Tom Brady reacts after connecting with Brandon LLoyd for a 27 yard touchdown.

Meadowlands, NJ. Tom Brady was fired up coming into New York tonight and it showed. Brady would throw 3 touchdowns and 357 yards passing for the game continuing his streak of hot passing performances. Wes Welker snatch 9 passes for 111 yards and he kept the chains moving for the Patriots when drives looked like they would stall. Patriots also got 132 yards rushing from the Pats running backs, Woodhead ran two for scores. Under new leadership the Jets looked nothing like the first game as Tebow was ineffective for the most part of the day. He however did find S.Holmes who racked up 5 catches for 160 yards and a score but for every score the Jets made Brady would counter with one of his own. In the 2nd half Brady would cool down as the running game began to grind it out vs the Jets front line. After the game Brady responded "We really needed this game as we get ready to make our playoff push. We have a lot of tough teams to play down the stretch and this win was a good way to kick things off."

Patriots head to Miami to face another AFC East foe before returning home for 2 games against the Texans and 49ers.

The Falcons won their second game in a row with a dominating 33-3 performance against the Bucs.

The Falcons dominated EVERY facet of the game besides two - FG kicking and injuries.

FIrst, the bad. Matt Bryant sucks. There is no way around it anymore. Two more missed FGs from 47 and 48 yards added to his dismal performance this year. Also, the Falcons became a MASH unit in the game, at one time losing WR Julio Jones as well as THREE defensive lineman at one time. John Abraham suffered the worst injury and appears to be headed to the inactive list for the second time this year, this time with an Abdominal tear.

Now, the positives. The Falcons defense was abusive to Josh Freeman all game. 8 sacks, 1 Forced Fumble, and 1 INT. They also sacked Freeman for a safety. They dominated and laid the wood continuously.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Falcons tried to force the running game yet again. Michael Turner had 124 yards on 38 attempts with 1 TD. Jason Snelling and Jacquiz Rodgers also contributed on the ground.

Matt Ryan was superb. He passed for 291 yards and 3 TDs, two TDs to Roddy White (9 catches, 114 yards) and one to Tony Gonzalez (6 catches, 74 yards). Julio Jones had 6 catches for 74 yards as well.

Great game all together for the Falcons.

I usually congratulate my opponent, but Im going to be a bad sport to the jerkface I played - so... SCREW YOU CPU!!! ;)

    AZ CArdinals 33 - STL Rams 17

    J. Skelton 11/17 150 yds 1 TD 112.3 Total QBR 0 INT's
    B. Wells 26 Car 153 Yds 1 TD
    R. Williams 10 Car 164 yds 1 TD
    L. Fitgerald 3 Car 70 Yds 1 TD
    D. Buehler 4/5 Fgs (Missed a 61 yarder just short!)
    S. Bradford 17/31 292 yds 2 TD 108.5 Total QBR
    S. Jackson 7 Car 17 yds
    C. Givens 5 Rec 127 yds 1 TD

After falling 5 straight games the Cardinals are able to finally get a W this week and it all started with the coach. The coach came into today's game ranked 2 in total offense and 9th in total defense and yet they still had a losing record. So after careful evaluation of the situation the Cardinals were killing themselves and giving games away ranking almost at the very bottom in the turnovers category. The game started and it was all about the Cardinals run stop defense and there conservative running game. Although Beanie had a great game with 153 yds on the ground the real story of the game was Ryan Williams in his break-out game of the year. He had a 70 yd TD run and a late 2nd quarter 67 yard run to ignite the crowd. The Rams looked good throwing the ball and rookie wideout Chris Givens had a great game but Stephen Jackson just could not muster any productivity and had a horrible game he wants to forget. No turnovers for the Cardinals equals a positive outcome. Now let's see if they can carry some of this confidence and motivation into the Meadowlands and come out with a W against the Tim Tebow Jets!

    Jacksonville vs. Tennessee
The Jacksonville Jaguars played a nearly flawless Week 12 game against the Tennessee Titans, giving up their only points on a special teams gaffe on a punt as they steamrolled the Titans for a 27-2 victory. Blaine Gabbert threw for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns and Maurice Jones-Drew powered ahead for 144 yards on 18 attempts. Defensive End Jeremy Mincey acquired 3 sacks as the Titans were held to only 100 yards on the day. Jacksonville looks to improve to .500 next week as they face an underrated Buffalo Bills team that is last in the AFC East.

    Cowboys win, but lose Murray
    murray hurt.jpg
    Passing:
    Romo: 23-30 280 yds, 3 TD
    RGIII: 5-14 20 yds 1 Int

    Rushing:
    Murray: 17-65
    Morris:-5-4

    Receiving:
    Bryant 9-148 3 TD
    Wittin 6-74
    Austin 2-10

    Moss 1-3
    Garcon 1-5

Romo continued his string of good games, passing for 280 yards, 3 TD’s and zero Interceptions. Dez had a big night hauling in 9 catches for 148 yards and 3 TD’s. The biggest news coming out of this 24-0 game was the loss of D. Murray, who ruptured a disk and will be out for 4 weeks. Felix Jones will step into the starting HB spot until Murray has recovered from his injury.

RGIII had no running game and had the worst passing game of his young career. 5-14 for 20 yards, the Redskins failed to convert on third downs the entire night and it showed in the box score.

    Game notes:
Murray – Injury could sideline him for remainder of regular season
    D. Bryant – career high 3 TD receptions

    Next up: Eagles

    Vikings 44, Bears 17
    [IMG]
    MIN at CHI 2012.jpg
CHICAGO, Illinois --- There was a time earlier in the season when the Vikings were 1-4 and looked poised to challenge for the 1st overall pick in the NFL Draft. That was six games ago, though. That was also six wins ago. The Vikings reeled off their sixth straight win of the season with a 44-17 spanking of the Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday. The win effectively allows the Vikings to control their playoff destiny.
Christian Ponder had perhaps his best game of the season throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns. Adrian Peterson continued to assault opposing defenses to the tune of 125 yards on 18 carries with one score. Toby Gerhart and Jerome Simpson each added touchdowns as the Vikings put together what could be considered their best performance of the season.
The Bears looked good early in the game taking a 3-0 lead on an early field goal. The Vikings answered with a go-ahead touchdown but Drew Brees led the Bears right back down the field to take a 10-7 lead. A late drive by the Vikings seemingly put them up 14-10 going into the half. However, Minnesota's rookie safety Harrison Smith intercepted a Brees pass late and took it 75 yards for the score and Minnesota went into the locker room up 21-10.
Early in the third quarter, Peterson broke off a 75-yard touchdown run that put the Vikings up 28-10 and the rout was on. Brees looked rattled the rest of the game and wound up throwing two more interceptions. Offensively, the Bears struggled to move the ball and the Vikings were able to seemingly at will. The dogs were finally called off in the fourth quarter and rookie kicker Blair Walsh was able to tack on three more field goals for the finishing touches.
Next week the Vikings will head to Green Bay to face the division leading Packers in what will be a battle for first place in the NFC North. The Bears will remain at home and host a Seattle team that has been up and down all season, much like they have been.

Lions beat Texans 35 to 7
Detroit jumped all over the Texans defense with two early scores ... Leshoure started it off with a long rushing TD and then Stafford found Megatron on the next possession when he beat the Texans secondary to take the ball to paydirt ... the tone was now set and the Lions defense came to play as they shut down Houston's passing attack for most of the day ... Detroit has now won two in a row over two of the top teams in the league, Green Bay and Houston ... Detroit is looking to overcome some injuries and some early season defeats to push their way into the playoff picture ... stay tuned!
