The winner of each game (or user if playing the CPU) must post a short game summary following their game. The summary must include the following:
    • Game Score
    • Key Team Stats
    • Key Individual Stats
    • Notes
This can be as basic or as simply as you would like to make it. However, the more engaging the posts are, the more invested other users will be in this thread and the league in general. Its up to you how much effort you want to put into it.

Here are some links to help out your summaries:
    Have fun!

Chargers romp Jets, but do not hold playoff fate in their own hands

Chargers clearly frustrated by the poor play against the Panthers last week, took over the game early going up 28-0 before the Jets scored before the half. QB Philip Rivers had his best passing game of the season going 17-23, 338 yards, 4 TD, 1Int. The Chargers defense held MVP candidate Tim Tebow to 236 yards and two Ints. RB Ryan Mathews found the endzone twice, and both WR Malcolm Floyd and TE Antonio Gates had big games, each catching six passes and going over the 100 yard receiving mark. Floyd scored two TDs, Gates 1 TD.

The Chargers finish the season against the Raiders, and will need some help from the Bills and the Patriots to beat the Dolphins if they want to reach the playoffs.

    Final Score

    Chargers - 42

    Jets - 21

The Raven Defense lead the way to victory!!

    [IMG]28 vs. [IMG] 20

The Raven defense forced 3 Turnovers and pressured the Giant offense all-game. For the first time all season the Raven offense did not have 1 turnover. The Raves are now 6-9 and playing for pride and respect. THe last game of the season ill be against the Bengals. Baltimore also has an outside shot at the playoffs no matter how slim they are. If the Browns lose out the Raven will be tied 7-9. The browns hold the tiebreaker but stranger things have happened in the past.

    Joe Flacco 14/22 186 2TD
    Anthony Allen 17car 110yds TD
Sergio Kindle Fum Rec DEF TD
    Ed Reed/C. Williams INT

    Eli Manning 13/27 247 TD 2int
Ahmad Bradshaw 10car 9 yards TD Fum
Travis Beckham 5 rec 102yards TD

Falcons clipped, Lions still in playoff hunt
Detroit got out to a quick lead on a Calvin Johnson TD catch followed by a pick six by Terrance Newman ... after that, Detroit needed to ensure they minimized their turnovers as fumbles and interceptions have been the Lions achilles heal this season ... a well balanced offense allowed Detroit to hold off the Falcons and their passing attack ... drop passes often stalled the Atlanta offense at critical moments ... 3rd down conversions pretty much told the story in this one as Atlanta converted 33% and Detroit a staggering 80%!

The Arizona Cardinals went to Chicago expecting an easy win over the CPU's Bears. Oh were the Cardinals in for a surprise when the Bears showed there toughness and never gave up. Drew Brees lit the secondary up all day racking up 333 pass yards! Under 2 mins to go Larry catches the ball at the Bears 1 yard line. After 3 attempts to pound it in the Bears defense prevailed forcing AZ to settle for a FG. The bears get the ball back trailing 26-13 with about 1 min and half left. Cardinals feel pretty good about the win and start playing prevent defense and Drew Brees took advantage of it connecting for a TD with .50 seconds to go. The Bears trailing 26-20 with .43 seconds to recover the onside kick! WTH! Drew Brees and company have another shot to try and take the lead...Touchdown Bears!! The Az cardinals have yet figured out another way to lose late in the game!

That would be the time I throw the controller through the TV screen. Whether it happens on Madden or in RL.

I'm sorry. I am unsure what my reaction would be in that situation but it would probably be an angry one

    SAINTS MOVE TO 11-4
Beat the Cowboys 37-31 in Dallas
    [IMG]
    - The Saints continue their winning ways and sneak out a close one on the road. Coach Copeland could not be happier with his group saying "this is the best group of guys I have ever been a part of coaching." New Orleans is now on a 7 game winning streak heading into the final game of the Season against the 2nd place team in the division, Crumbler81 and the Carolina Panthers. The Saints have already won their division so it's likely that he will sit most of his starters at some time in the 1st quarter.
    - Jay Cutler had a below average game, completing 50% of his passes, going 12-24 for 219 yards and 2 TD while also throwing 1 INT
    - Matt Forte ran the ball 28 times for 114 yards with Mark Ingram running it only twice but had the only rushing TD of the game
    - Jimmy Graham led the receivers with 5 receptions for 82 yards and a TD
    - Marques Colston caught 3 passes for 91 yards and a TD
    - Curtis Lofton led all defensive players with 6 tackles and 2 for loss
    - Finally, Courtney Roby had the play of the game returning a 101 kickoff back to the house that arguably was the determining factor

    Panthers Win Defensive Battle
Hold Off Raiders to Stay in Playoff Hunt
    [IMG]
After being gashed on the first drive of the game, Carolina's defense preceded to shutout Oakland the rest of the way and kept the Panthers in the NFC Playoff hunt with a 14 - 7 win. HB DeAngelo Williams rushed for a 81 yards and QB Cam Newton threw a touchdown pass, but this victory can be credited to the defense as they held QB Carson Palmer and the Raiders to 167 yards of total offense. With the win and a loss by the Minnesota Vikings, Carolina moved into a tie for the last playoff spot in the NFC. However, the Panthers will need a win next week vs New Orleans and another loss by the Vikings to secure a playoff spot.

The Texans win. A hard fought game against a tough Vikings team. The Vikings came out determined to stop the run. Matt Schaub decided that he would not let one dimension of the offense shut down his performance. He would complete 22 passes for 297 yards and 3 touchdowns and 1 int. The rest of the game was a tight back and forth with no team really taking advantage. The Texans pull off the win 21-17 against a very tough Vikings team.

    Week #16

    Buffalo Bills 0

    Miami Dolphins 17

A huge win for the Dolphins against division rivials. Another defensive battle for both teams. The offenses struggled to get anything going, but Miami had a few big plays to get points and win the game. Player of the game RB R.Bush.

    Dolphins:
    QB R.Tannehill 10/18 for 125 yds, 1 td, 1 int, 4 sacks, rating of 72.6
RB R.Bush 18 atts for 128 yds, 1 td, longest run 56 yds.
WR D.Bess 3 rec. for 89 yds and 1 td
    CB N.Clements 4 tak, 2 ints

    Bills:

    QB M.Sanchez 10/33 for 116 yds, o td, 4 int's, rating of 2.3 (just dirty)
    WR S.Johnson 4 rec. for 48 yds.

A tough Dolphins defense gets 4 int's 2 weeks in a row. The Dolphins are winning with a lot of heart and hard nose defensive plays. We are now 9-6, with a rematch between the Patriots and QB T.Brady in New England. If we win we might be in the playoffs. A great team effort again in the win against the Bills. The Dolphins keep finding ways to win and to over come the mistakes that they are making to put it all together. We are gelling at the right time!!!

Another solid rushing effort from Maurice Jones Drew paved the way for a 24-18 victory for the Jaguars over the Patriots. Jones-Drew rushed for 143 yards while Blaine Gabbert contributed two touchdowns in a lackluster performance by the quarterback. The true man of the match for the Jaguars today was their defense, who limited Tom Brady to 186 yards and a touchdown and holding their rushing game to under 40 yards. Paul Pozlusny contributed 6 tackles and the Jaguars go into their final clashagainst the Titans at 6-9.
