The winner of each game (or user if playing the CPU) must post a short game summary following their game. The summary must include the following:
    • Game Score
    • Key Team Stats
    • Key Individual Stats
    • Notes
This can be as basic or as simply as you would like to make it. However, the more engaging the posts are, the more invested other users will be in this thread and the league in general. Its up to you how much effort you want to put into it.

Here are some links to help out your summaries:
    Have fun!

Chargers finish season strong with a win against the Raiders

The Chargers finished their season strong with a win over the Raiders. In a game where the defense and the run game showed up, QB Philip Rivers reverted back to his sloppy ways throwing three interceptions. He finished 16-25, 262 Yards, 2 TDs, 3 ints. The star for the Chargers was RB Ryan Mathews who rushed 19 times for 183 yards and 2 TDs. The Chargers RB was able to stay healthy this season and break the 1,000 yard mark. Elder statesman TE Antonio Gates found the endzone, adding 3 catches for 37 yards and 1TD.

The Chargers will be looking for some help from the Patriots, who will need to beat the Dolphins for the Bolts to be playoff bound.

    Final Score

    Chargers - 28

    Raiders - 6

    Week 17:

    (10-6)[IMG]@ [IMG](6-10)

    Sanchez Tops Former Team
    Bills Defeat Jets, 14-6

Revenge was the Bills' motivation in this game. They wanted to pay back the Jets for routing them in week 1 to the tune of 53-9. QB Mark Sanchez, who was first benched by the Jets before the start of the season, and then traded to Buffalo in Week 4 (for Bills backup QB Tarvarus Jackson and draft picks), also got a little vindication this week by not only defeating his former team, but also out-dueling his replacement and MVP candidate, Tim Tebow.

It was a hard fought but sloppy game by both teams, though in the end, the results didn't matter. Win or lose, the Jets were locked into the 3rd seed in the AFC playoffs, while the Bills were long since out of playoff contention. The only stat that possibly mattered was Tim Tebow's continued attempt to win the MVP for the season - an effort which might have backfired due to his decidedly poor showing.

Buffalo scored first on a 7 Yd TD pass from Mark Sanchez to Stevie Johnson in the first quarter. Their next score came on a Fred Jackson 1 Yd TD run with 17 seconds left in the second quarter.

In the second half, the Jets had a few opportunities to come away with touchdowns, but each time the Bills either held them to FGs or forced a turnover. Tebow finished the day 9/17 for 97 yards, 0 TDs, and 3 INT. Mark Sanchez and the Bills are hoping those stats are enough to end his MVP bid.

    Key Stats of the Game:

    Buffalo:
    Passing: M. Sanchez - 75.2 QB Rating, 13/23 for 164 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
    Rushing: F. Jackson - 27 Rushes, 89 yards, 3.3 avg, 1 TD, 2 FUM
    Receiving: S. Johnson - 3 Recs, 33 yards, 1 TD
    Kicking: R. Lindell - 0 FGM, 2 FGA

    New York:
    Passing: T. Tebow - 30.3 QB Rating, 9/17 for 97 yards, 0 TD, 3 INT
    Rushing: S. Greene - 13 Rushes, 37 yards, 2.8 avg / T. Tebow - 3 Rushes, 16 yards, 5.3 avg
    Receiving: S. Hill - 2 Recs, 52 yards

Buffalo’s Keys to Victory: Defense, run game, limit mistakes by the QB.

New York’s Playoff Concerns: Weak play from QB Tim Tebow. If they're going to compete in the playoffs, they'll need much better production from him. If they can lose to the Buffalo Bills, what does that say about their chances against elite VFL teams?

Player of the Game: QB Mark Sanchez

Looks like he's still in the lead for now, but hopefully when the week advances, Brady or someone will have edged him out.

I don't think the jets are the 3rd seed anymore, with me beating the pats and the jets losing. I think Miami wins the division.

Bring on Tom Brady and the Patriots:

In another tough hard game the Dolphin pull out the miracle win!!!

QB T.Brady drives the ball down to take the lead on a field goal with just over 2 mins left in the game. Score 15-14 for the Pats.
Rookie QB R.Tannehill gets the ball at his own 20 yardline. He proceeds to carve up the Pat defense, completeing 5 of 6 passes. Driving the ball down into the Patriot territory, after a few run plays to get the ball closer. We set up for the game winning fieldgoal. Calling a timeout to stop the clock with 12 seconds left, K D.Carpenter had all of the pressure on him. He kicked the ball right through the uprights!! This gave the Miami Dolphns the win 17-15 in New England. It was a close game, the reason the Dolphins were in it at the end was because of a R.Bush kick return for a TD at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Miami defense came up big;, causing 3 ints from the great Brady.

    Dolphins:

    QB R.Tannehill 15/32 for 186 yds, 0 td, 1 int, 5 sacks, rating of 52.3
    RB R.Bush 6 atts for 29 yds, 1 rec for 37 yds, and 2 KR's for 116 yds and 1 td
    WR D.Bess 8 rec for 66 yds

    Pats:

    QB T.Brady 19/26 for 232 yds, 1 td, 3 int's, 3 sacks, rating of 73.3
    WR J.Edelman 6 rec for 56 yds
    WR W.Welker 4 rec for 34 yds
RB D.Woodhead 1 rec for 58 yds, 1 td (screen pass, cheesy Tom)

That was awesome!! Great team effort!! Very proud of how the team kept playing!! We never gave up and showed a lot of heart. Win and we are in the playoffs. We are playoff bound. The biggest win for the Dolphins in decades!!!
Rookie QB R.Tannehill for ROY!!! Dolphins defense for #1 defense in the league!!

No, they beat you twice this season, so even with you two having the same record, they have tiebreaker

I was thinking that the Jets had 9 wins not 10. pretty cool that the division goes to the very last week of the season before it is decided. With 3 teams still with a chance to win it.

Chiefs Dominate Broncos, Become 3rd Team To Finish 16-0
    Picture 1.png

    Player Of The Game
    Chiefs Defense
Held Broncos to 68 total offensive yards
DENVER, Co. -- The Kansas City Chiefs have become just the 3rd team in NFL history to finish the regular season 16-0. The Chiefs suffocated the Broncos offense and played efficiently on offense, winning 20-0. This was the Chiefs first shutout of the season.
The Chiefs offense was led by the running back trio of Charles, Hillis and Gray. The three combined for 27 carries for 205 yards and 1 TD. Matt Cassel played the role of game manager completed 15 of 20 passes for 152 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT.
The Denver Broncos offense was unable to do anything. They had trouble staying on the field all game, and did not convert a single 3rd down. Their defense was not particularly bad, but being on the field so much did not help, as the Chiefs' run game eventually wore them down.
Some bad news for the Chiefs was that starting TE Tony Moeaki was injured and is expected to miss the rest of the season, including the playoffs. Moeaki had 33 catches for 363 yards and 2 TDs on the season.
The Chiefs will now sit back and wait to see who they will play in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Denver Broncos finish the season 4-12.

    JACKSONVILLE VS TENNESSEE
A wonderful interception return by Aaron Ross allowed the Jaguars to squeak by the Titans 22-19 in a hard-fought competition for pride. Maurice Jones Drew ran for 90 yards on 14 attempts and a touchdown while Blaine Gabbert provided 2 touchdowns in another less-than-ideal performance by him. Jake Locker spoiled the game for Tennessee, throwing 4 interceptions and only 167 yards. Chris Johnson picked up the slack, rushing for 163 yards on 19 attempts and busting a 93-yard touchdown early in the game that kept the Jaguars on their heels. Jaguar Paul Poslusney notched 8 tackles and Titan Jordan Babineux gathered 6. The Jaguars finish the season just under .500 at 7-9 and hope this win will raise their confidence heading into next season.

Congrats man (y)! I was rooting for you. We need some kind of special recognition or thread or something to commemorate this. Wonder if you can go all the way and close it out, 19-0?

Btw, small typo "Chiefs Dominate Colts,"
