The winner of each game (or user if playing the CPU) must post a short game summary following their game. The summary must include the following:
    • Game Score
    • Key Team Stats
    • Key Individual Stats
    • Notes
This can be as basic or as simply as you would like to make it. However, the more engaging the posts are, the more invested other users will be in this thread and the league in general. Its up to you how much effort you want to put into it.

Lions roar into Chicago and steal a victory, 45 to 20
Lions play team ball to take the win against their division rivals
Big plays early on help Lions get back in the win column ... The Bears received the opening kick and ultimately had to punt the ball away ... Titus Young, who was put into the lineup as punt returner this week took the ball from one sideline to the other while evading tacklers to score the first 7 pts of the game ... Bears than drove the length of the field to the Lions red zone at which point a holding call hindered their drive yet still resulted in a FG ... first play from scrimmage for the Lions today ended up being a pass to Calvin Johnson that was caught off his shoelaces and then taken to paydirt ... the play was reviewed but the call was upheld ... The Bears again drive the length of the field again into the red zone when Brees dropped back and went over the middle and was intercepted by Justin Durant who took the ball down the sideline, spun move around a defender and somehow ended up in the endzone for an early 21 to 3 lead ... The Bears controlled most of the first half and all of the scoring was done by the Bears in the 2nd quarter as Alshon Jeffrey caught a pass for 24 yds and Robbie Gould added a FG as time expired ... halftime 21 to 10 ... The third quarter started out the same way it did for the Lions as Calvin Johnson broke on an inside post when the safety came up in his zone ... Stafford hit him in stride for a 82 yd TD ... later in the quarter Jahvid Best added a 3 yd TD run after Brees was intercepted again ... Bears again end up in the red zone with Sproles running for the 1 yd plunge ... The Lions added 10 more pts in the 4th quarter as the turnovers started to mount ... All in all it was a hard fought game mared by turnovers and penalities ... The Bears are definitely a strong team and their aerial attack is top notch ... good game and good luck to you slicknick202

    Vikings 38, Cardinals 24
    MIN vs ARI 2012.jpg
MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota --- For the second straight week, the Minnesota Vikings have slowed down what appeared to be a runaway train en route to an upset victory by defeating the Arizona Cardinals 38-24 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. The Vikings have now put together two straight wins and appear to be headed in the right direction as they look to begin the heart of their divisional schedule.
The first quarter of this game was a barn burner as the Vikings and Cardinals combined 38 points. The Vikings were hot early and built up a 21-7 lead off of two key interceptions thrown by John Skelton (one of which was returned for a touchdown). The Cardinals fought back and were actually able to tie the game midway through the second quarter. However, the Vikings defense quickly clamped down on the Cardinal's offense and Arizona did not find the scoreboard the remainder of the game.
Adrian Peterson posted his second straight 140+ yard, multiple touchdown game picking up 143 yards on 23 carries with three touchdowns. Rookie safety Robert Blanton was a spark for the defense picking off each of Arizona's quarterbacks including one for a touchdown (Skelton).
Next week the Vikings will look to make it three wins in a row as they face Tampa Bay at home. The Cardinals will try to rebound from a two-game skid by hosting division rival San Francisco.
    Good game Crunk_Ness

    Seahawks- 24 vs. 49ers- 35

The 49ers entered the 4th quarter down by 10 points but then outscored the Seahawks 21-0 in the 4th. 49ers started the quarter off with a TD run by Frank Gore then with 4:03 left in the game and down by 4, Kaepernick threw a strike to Randy Moss and Moss won the football race for a 94 yard TD pass! And with a 1:56 left in the game Frank Gore scored on a 65 yard run to put the game out of reach. The 49ers played sloppy all game long, with CK throwing 3 INT including a pick 6. In the first half the 49ers defense sucked but in the 2nd half they stepped up.

    C. Kaepernick- 12-21, 252 yards, 3 TD, 3 INT
    R. Wilson- 6-18, 89 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

    F. Gore- 22 car, 150 yards, 2 TD
    M. Lynch- 15 car, 117 yards, 0 TD

    R. Moss- 5 Rec, 151 yards, 2 TD
    D. Baldwin- 3 Rec, 30 yards, 1 TD

Aldon Smith- 3 sacks, 4 TFL
    E.J. Henderson- 3 INT

Game Ball- Randy Moss, broke a couple tackles on his 94 yard TD run to put the 49ers on top

    Cowboys 14 - Panthers 10

Dallas’ Defense prevails, hold off Panthers 14-10
    dallas D 2.jpg
Defensive Unit: 5 sacks, 1 int, allowed 221 Total yards (goal line stop to end game)
    Romo: 8-15 115 yds 0 TDs (2 fumbles, 1 lost)
    Newton: 10-16 120 yds 0 TD 1 int

    Murray: 16-62 1 TD
    Williams: 18-84

    Bryant 4-71
    Ogletree 1-18
    Austin 2-32
    Lafell 4-49
    Olsen 3-47
    Gettis 1-17

    Spencer 7 Tackles, 1 Int, 1 sack
    Ratliff 4 Tackles, 1 sack
Butler, Lissemore & Spears 1 sack each
    C. Johnson & R. Edwards 1 sack each
    A. Applewhite 1 tackle, 1 fumble rec. TD
    Beason 5 tackles

Romo’s struggles continued this week and the ground game was inept as well. Romo completed only 8 passes and threw for a career low 115 yards. Murray only mustered 62 yards on the ground but did find the endzone for Dallas’ 2nd TD of the game. Dez Bryant got off to a quick start with 3 catches in the first quarter, but the Carolina defense adjusted and he only caught 1 pass the rest of the game. The Defense came up big again for Dallas, allowing only 221 total yards (120 passing and 101 rushing) they were able to apply pressure on Cam Newton and forced him to throw his first INT of the season. They also sacked him five times.

The Panthers (without S. Smith) had trouble finding any kind of rhythm on offense and Cam Newton was under pressure throughout the game. The Panther Defense played extremely good, and got off to a quick start…sacking Romo, forcing the fumble and returning it for a touchdown to tie the game at 7. Unfortunately for them, they were only able to add 3 more points later on. Late in

The game was decided in the fourth quarter as Cam Newton marched his team into Dallas territory trailing 14-10 with under 2 minutes to go. They get to a first and goal at the Dallas 9 with 44 seconds remaining and 2 timeouts. That’s when the Dallas Defense stepped up. The next four plays, incomplete pass (in endzone), sack, short gain on run and on the 4th and goal pass was completed but tackled short of the endzone.

    Game notes:
    C. Newton throws 1st int of season
    T. Romo throw carrer low 115 yards and no TD’s
Dallas Defense has not allowed a 100 yards rusher this season.

This game was played against the CPU. QB Aaron Rodgers had a huge first half and put the game out of reach by halftime. The Packers were able to move the ball on the ground and through the air with a very balanced attack that gained a total of just under 500 yards.

The win adds to the Packers lead in the NFC North division as they look to have a strong second half of the season. Capture.PNG
