The winner of each game (or user if playing the CPU) must post a short game summary following their game. The summary must include the following:
    • Game Score
    • Key Team Stats
    • Key Individual Stats
    • Notes
This can be as basic or as simply as you would like to make it. However, the more engaging the posts are, the more invested other users will be in this thread and the league in general. Its up to you how much effort you want to put into it.

    Chicago Bears 41 - 6 Tennessee Titans
The Bears made it look easy in tennessee picking up the 41 - 6 win. The Defense was obviously a big reason for that picking up 3 Interceptions, a fumble, and 2 sacks while giving up just 6 points. the bears are now 4-4 and are back competing for a top spot in the division. Sproles wins player of the game collecting 4 Total TDs. Bears have a win now roster and they are fighting to stay on top and make it to the playoffs. losing 3 games in a row after trading culter and forte was tough but the bears have picked up a record of 3-1 in the 4 games after that. lets see if they could continue to improve. the titans are now 4-5.

    MIN at SEA 2012.jpg
SEATTLE, Washington --- The Minnesota Vikings walked onto the rain soaked field at CenturyLink Stadium in Seattle riding a three-game win streak and looking to establish themselves as a legitimate contender in the NFC's North division. After 60 minutes of hard fought football, including another 100 yard performance by Adrian Peterson (his fourth straight), the Vikings now sit at 5-4 and are knocking heavily on the door of the division leading Green Bay Packers following a 20-7 win over the Seahawks.
Peterson, coming off of both ACL and MCL surgeries last season, got off to a relatively slow start to the 2012 season. However, he has found his stride and has worked himself up among the league leaders in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. Peterson is now just 40 yards shy of his fifth career 1,000 yard rushing season and just 10 shy of the total (970) he managed through 12 games a year ago.
While Peterson has been flourishing, second-year quarterback Christian Ponder continues to struggle after getting off to a promising start to the year. On Sunday, Ponder completed only six-of-14 pass attempts and threw for a season low 64 yards through the air. The positive aspect of Ponder's game was that he avoided the turnover bug for the third-straight game, an issue that had plagued him earlier in the season.
The Vikings defense was impressive in the win as they nearly secured a shutout over the struggling Seahawks. A late touchdown pass to Braylon Edwards, who slipped behind the Vikings secondary after it looked as though Seattle had given up, was the only thing that separated Minnesota from their first team shutout since 1993.
Next week the Vikings will return home for a rematch with division rival Detroit while Seattle will host the AFC East leading New York Jets.

Good game wayers50 No more letting off the pedal late in game with a shutout on the line! Lol

In what proved a very tough match the Houston Texan under new head coach Jason Murillo pulled of another victory. The Texans where out early with a 24-0 nothing lead heading into the half when the Bills made a long two minute drive covering around 80 yards to make it 24-7 at the half. The Bills continued to apply the pressure coming out of the break and added another touchdown on a pick six from Matt Schaub 24-14. Following that series the Texans turn the ball over again on a Ben Tate fumble on the screen pass leading to anothe Bills score making it 24-21. At this point the Texans had to settle down under the new coach and reevaluate the situation. They went away from the ground and pound and went back to there air where they had found success earlier in the game. They were forced to punt but did recover some field position. The next series the defense of the Texans held and got the offense back on the field. Where Matt Schaub continued to execute and delivered another TD strike to Andre Johnson who had three on the day to make it 31-21. It would stay that way until late in the game when the Texans kicked a meaningless field goal with about 5 seconds left.

Mark Sanchez battled his team back but he also put them in the whole a la Jay Cutler vs Deangelo Hall. Mark through at Johnthan Joseph a lot looking for a wideout that was covered so tightly I couldnt get his name of his jersey. Joseph had 4 tackles and 4 ints and recieved our defensive player of the game. JJ Watt honorable mention with 2 sacks. Offensive line gets the game ball on offensive for giving Matt Schaub time to locate his wideouts and have a great day. Andre Johnson did also catch 3 tds on the day.

Also running back Ben Tate who was seen his share of the injury bug is out again. MRI scheduled for tomorrow but it doesnt look good. On field doctor says it could be six weeks.

The Falcons handed the Cowboys their first loss of the season in a thrilling overtime victory. Matt Bryant hit the chip shot game winner after backup MLB Dent picked off a Romo pass in overtime.

The star of the game was Michael Turner who had 155 yards on 20 attempts with 2 TDs including a 79 yard scamper on a counter play. He overcame an early game fumble to star in the game.

Both QBs were very efficient. Matt Ryan through for 195 yards with no TDs, but more importantly, no interceptions which have been plaguing him all season. Tony Romo had 260 yards, 2 passing TDs, one rushing TD, and one costly interception.

The Falcons overcame an early 10-3 hole at half time and raced ahead 17-10 in the third. However the Cowboys tied it up at 17. The Falcons then took a 24-17 lead on a Polite 1 yard TD smash, but Romo lead a comeback again to tie it at 34 with a TD to Jason Witten. The Cowboys had a chance to win at the end of regulation, but missed a 53 yard FG.

This ends the long 3 game losing streak of the Falcons getting them back to .500. The Cowboys take their first loss.

    GREAT GAME jeb4056

Lions defense shuts down Jags, MJD and win 27 to 14
Lions show the Jags who the real king of the jungle is!
Game ball goes to workhorse Mikel Leshoure who rushed for 110 yds with 1 TD in his first career start
Detroit came into Jacksonville and finally played a well balanced, error free game and were finally able to meet team owner William Clay Ford's expectations ... Detroit received the opening kickoff and held the ball for the entire 1st quarter by methodically moving the ball down the field with a new power run game led by new starting running back Mikel Leshoure ... Leshoure ended up pushing the ball through the endzone to start the 2nd quarter after the Jags defense stuffed the Lions efforts on their first two attempts ... The Lions would then get the ball back after a Blaine Gabbert interception ... On 3rd and 7. the Lions went 4 wide and motioned Best to the line of scrimmage ... the defense readjusted and on the snap of the ball, Best was left all alone streaking down the field wide open ... Matt Stafford hit him in stride to give the Lions a 14 to 0 lead ... Jason Hansen would later add a FG and the first two quarters of action ended at 17 to 0 with the Lions leading ... Both teams would continue to battle on in the 3rd quarter as each team would add a passing TD to finish the 3rd quarter at 24 to 7 ... The Lions would continue to grind out yardage well into the 4th quarter and pad their lead with another FG and the Jags decided to jerk Blaine Gabbert from the game to bring in a fresh Chad Henne ... the initial results proved positive as Chad Henne threw a long bomb into double coverage in the end zone at which point Mike Thomas highpointed the ball with one hand and came down with what could be considered the catch of the year!! The Jags successfully recovered the onside kick however their magic ended there as time expired ... a heck of a game and I am glad to see my Lions are possibly back on track!
Good Game Jbbubba ... good luck the rest of the way!

Chiefs Sneak By Chargers Late To Remain Unbeaten

    Player Of The Game
    Chiefs CB Stanford Routt
2 interceptions, 66 Yd INT Return TD
SAN DIEGO -- For the second week in a row, the Chiefs were able to inch by another divisional rival, beating the Chargers. Ryan Succop nailed a 39 yard field goal with 1:42 left and the Chiefs were able to hold on to a 30-28 road victory.
The Chiefs picked off Philip Rivers 4 times, including the game clinching interception by Derrick Johnson with less than a minute to go. CB Stanford Routt picked off two Rivers' passes, returning one 66 yards for a touchdown to give the Chiefs a 17-7 2nd quarter lead. But the Chargers would respond with a pick 6 of their own by Quentin Jammer to cut the Chiefs' lead to 3.

With just under 1 minute left before half, Rivers would connect with Eddie Royal on a slant and take it 89 yards to the house, giving the Chargers their first lead of the game. But the Chiefs would respond and steal the momentum with Cassel throwing a 5 yard TD strike to Dwayne Bowe.

The Chiefs would add a 3rd quarter field goal to increase their lead to 27-21 before Rivers would find Meachem for a 54 yard TD pass early in the fourth, putting the Chargers up 28-27.

SS Eric Berry broke his collarbone in the first quarter, and will be out at least a month. The Chiefs are already without HB Jamaal Charles, and it clearly showed today. Matt Cassel was the Chiefs' leading rusher with just 15 yards, including a 1st quarter TD run. Peyton Hillis and rookie Cyrus Gray were ineffective rushing for a combined 12 yards on 14 attempts.

The Chiefs (8-0) will head home to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Chargers (2-6) will face the Buccaneers.

Browns get the W 24-21, but, it wasn't easy

Coming into Week 9, Browns rookie HB Trent Richardson was ranked 2nd in the league in Rushing Yardage so, everyone knew that he was going to once again be the focus of the Browns Offense. Once again, Trent delivered, but, vs a Stingy Ravens Defense it was NOT an easy task.

Trent ran for 104 yards on the day, however, it took him 25 carries to do it. Although 4.1 yards per carry is not bad, Trent didn't have much room to run as the Ravens did a good job of gang tackling and bottling him up.

Brandon Weeden threw for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns, but again, it wasn't pretty. Weeden only completed 12 of his 28 pass attempts for an abysmal 42% completion percentage.

The Browns and Ravens battled for 4 quarters and it wasn't enough... Tied at 21-21 the overtime went all the way until the final Seconds, before Browns Kicker Phil "the thrill" Dawson kicked the game winner as Time expired.

Panthers Manhandle RG3 and the Redskins
    Get Back to .500
QB Cam Newton had yet another game without throwing a pick and HB DeAngelo Williams ran for 134 yards on 23 carries, and Carolina defeated the Redskins in a game that was not as close as the final score indicated. The Panthers stifling defense held Washington to 159 yards of total offense and sacked QB Robert Griffin III three times. After a Williams TD run, Carolina took a commanding 17-3 lead with just over a minute remaining but the Redskins made it look a lot closer when RG3 caught the Panthers defense out of position on a 4th Down Hail Mary TD pass with just seconds remaining. With the win, the Panthers improve to (4-4) and gain a share of 1st place in the NFC South.
