The winner of each game (or user if playing the CPU) must post a short game summary following their game. The summary must include the following:
    • Game Score
    • Key Team Stats
    • Key Individual Stats
    • Notes
This can be as basic or as simply as you would like to make it. However, the more engaging the posts are, the more invested other users will be in this thread and the league in general. Its up to you how much effort you want to put into it.

Here are some links to help out your summaries:
    Have fun!

After a hard fought game the Bears pull out the victory. It was not easy in Head Coach Jasons Murillos return to Oakland. Coach Murillo making his first appearance as head coach of the Bears after leading the Houston Texans to the playoffs was thrilled to be leading his childhood favorite team. "It has always been my dream to lead a first class orginazation especially one that you grew up rooting for. I am honored for the oppurtunity and hope that we can build on this win one game at a time."

Coach J: We had a big game out of all our team today. I know it takes a little gelling when you get a new head coach but I think the team responded well. Bushie led the team in rushing and it looked like Drew is heading in the right direction after a number of turnovers early in the season. The defense also stepped up and Im grateful to have that veteran leadership back there leading our young guys.

Reporter: How hard will it be to make the playoffs after starting 0-5?

Coach J: It will be no easy task but its one that this group of guys can do. I know we have some veteran leadership on both sides of the ball and we should be able to right the ship one game at a time.

Reporter: You added a lot of depth when you came on as well as getting rid of a veteran tight end? I thought you said you wanted the veteran leadership?

Coach J: Well as I stated earlier it wont be easy getting back to .500 or even making the playoffs but it starts now. Our veteran tight end was a great kid however I have to make the tough calls and his salary just was hurting us more than he was helping us. So the business side of things we were able to release him and add some depth. I am glad that you all came today I look forward to seeing you all next week after another positive week.

Chiefs Prevail In OT, Hand Pats First Loss

    Picture 14.png

KANSAS CITY, MO. -- Don't look now but the Kansas City Chiefs are on a roll. LaRod Stephens-Howling ran it in from one yard out and the Chiefs defeated the Patriots 16-10 in overtime. The Chiefs have now won four straight after starting the season 0-2. This was the Patriots first loss of the season.

This game was a defensive battle throughout. The two teams traded field goals in the first half for a 3-3 halftime score. The offensive continued to struggle until Stephens-Howling was able run 19 yards for a late TD, giving the Chiefs the 7 point lead with just over four minutes. The Patriots drove down the field and had a 1st and goal with just over a minute left. But on fourth and goal, Tom Brady's pass to Rob Gronkowski was broken up and New England turned it over on downs.

Still, the Patriots had 3 timeouts left. They forced the Chiefs to punt with 12 seconds left. After an incomplete pass, the Patriots had one last chance. Tom Brady threw up a desperation heave into the endzone that was hauled in by Johnny Knox. We're heading to overtime.

The Chiefs won the coin toss and elected to receive. This would be key as they were able to drive down the field, converting on a key 4th and inches. On 2nd and goal from the 1 Stephens-Howling took the handoff and punched it in. It was his 2nd score of the game.

Matt Cassel struggled, throwing 3 INTs and no TDs. Fortunately for the Chiefs, Stephens-Howling was excellent as he tallied 131 rushing yards and 2 TDs, and the defense played outstanding. The Patriots run game was non-existent, as they were limited to 8 rushing yards. Kansas City will face the Raiders next week. New England will travel to DC to face RG3 and the Redskins.

Good play calling and determination to control the clock with a consistent run game and good game managing by J. Skelton leads the Cardinals over the Eagles to make it 5 straight. Coach Crunk_ness after the game " Very impressed with the way we played defense and and the ability to take care of the ball but WE need to get better we still have a lot of football left and if any of my players aren't with the program as far as determination and focus we will not be afraid to make a line up change (Beanie)"....

Titans Hold Strong Against Late Carolina Surge

Tennessee continued its winning ways Sunday against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. The game started off well for the Titans when Jason McCourty intercepted a Cam pass which led to a Bironas FG. Carolina answered immediately with a FG of their own. Chris Johnson took one 85 yards to the house to start off the second quarter, in what was his only eventful run of the game. The Panthers pinned the Titans on the one yardline and it looked like Tennessee would have to punt, but on third down Jake Locker connected with Kendall Wright for a 98 yard score. In what had to be the play of the game, Wright took a ten yard pass 88 yards the rest of the way for the score. On the next possession Sensabaugh picked off a Cam Newton pass, which led to more points for the Titans when Locker connected with Hawkins for a score. The Titans went into the half with a comfortable 24-3 lead.

But Cam Newton didn't falter in the face of adversity. He kept his head up and began to lead a second half Panthers charge. Cam connected with Lafell for a nice TD pass to close the gap to 24-10. The rest of the quarter was a deadlock between the two teams until Bironas hit a FG and the score going into the fourth was 27-10. The fourth quarter was the Cam Newton show as he threw two TD passes and got the Panthers within 3 points with a little less than 2 minutes left, but Tennessee recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock to win 27-24.

    C. Newton 21/27 317 yards 3 TD, 2 INT
    J. Locker 11/17 240 yards 2 TD

    C. Newton 7 att 91 yards
    C. Johnson 19 att 145 yards, TD

    B. Lafell 7 rec 172 yards, 2 TD
    G. Olson 4 rec 63 yards
    C. Johnson 3 rec 64 yards
    K. Wright 1 rec 98 yards, TD

    M. Griffin 6 tackles
    L. Kuechly 6 tackles
    C. Sensabaugh INT
    J. McCourty INT
