The winner of each game (or user if playing the CPU) must post a short game summary following their game. The summary must include the following:
    • Game Score
    • Key Team Stats
    • Key Individual Stats
    • Notes
This can be as basic or as simply as you would like to make it. However, the more engaging the posts are, the more invested other users will be in this thread and the league in general. Its up to you how much effort you want to put into it.

Here are some links to help out your summaries:
    Have fun!

WR Robert Meachem had a breakout game with 2TDs, and HB Ryan Mathews shook off 3 fumbles, to rush for 112 yards and a score.

Falcons defense continues its dominance in win!

The Falcons got another key division win over the Bucs as their defense laid the WOOD again in dominating fashion. The score was 41-14. The Bucs did have success running the ball as their stellar rookie Bell had 114 yards on 15 carries breaking away on a 51 yard touchdown run. Besides that blemish the Falcons D was awesome. They forced 5 turnovers - 2 INTs by Freeman by Decoud and Samuel. Asante also had two fumble recoveries as the Falcons also forced three fumbles.

On offense the Falcons continued to force the running game, even with Michael Turner struggling. He scored two touchdowns, but also lost 2 fumbles on the day. Matt Ryan continued his MVP season with 3 TDs and no INTs.

    Matt Ryan: 25/37, 313 yards, 3 TDs
Michael Turner: 35 attempts, 142 yards. 2 TDs, 2 lost fumbles
Julio Jones: 8 catches, 120 yards, 1 TD
Roddy White: 9 catches, 118 yards, 1 TD
Adrian Jackson: 5 catches, 37 yards, 1 TD
Rigsy with 2 catches, Polite with 1 catch

    John Abraham: 2 sacks
Shanle and Babineaux with 1 sack each
Ed Reed with 7 tackles, 2 forced fumbles

    Dolphins No Longer Perfect
    Bills Win It Close, 24-21

The last undefeated AFC team has fallen. Despite their difference in record - the Bills were 3-4 and the Dolphins 6-0 going into the game - and their previous match-up ending in a 37-7 Miami win, this week's contest was a lot closer than one would've expected.

It didn't look like it would be close early on, with Miami jumping out to an early 14-0 1st Quarter lead on two Ryan Tannehill TD passes. Buffalo's defense would manage to slow the Dolphins down for the rest of the half, but their offense couldn't capitalize on the chances given to them. Two consecutive drives to the red-zone during the 2nd Quarter would be stopped by Miami's defense and held to a FG each. It wasn't until less than 0:30 left in the quarter that a third Buffalo red-zone try would finally punch it in for a TD, tying the score at 14-14 after a successful 2-pt conversion.

The 3rd Quarter and much of the 4th would go without either team scoring. Miami would have the ball with a little over 2 minutes left in the game, and was driving for the red-zone with the potential to score and leave very little time on the clock. However, Ryan Tannehill threw an INT to Bills' CB Stephon Gilmore, who returned it 66 yards for a TD, giving Buffalo a sudden 21-14 lead from what had previously looked like a Miami game-winning drive.

The Dolphins showed true resolve following that, as they came out, and using just 1:13 off the clock, drove down the field for the TD to tie it back up at 21-21. They drove down too fast though, as with 1:08 left to work with, the Bills were able to catch several breaks and make it to Miami's 4 yard line, where after 3 kneel downs, they were able to run out the clock and kick the game-winning FG to come away with the 24-21 upset.

    Key Stats of the Game:

    Buffalo:
    Passing: J. Shuman - 68.0 QB Rating, 19/34 for 278 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
    Rushing: F. Jackson - 13 Rushes, 72 yards, 5.5 avg, 1 FUM (lost)
    Receiving: WR A. Boldin - 7 Recs, 106 yards, 1 TD / WR S. Oduh - 3 Recs, 62 yards
    Defense: CB S. Gilmore - 0 TAK, 1 INT, 1 TD / CB T. McGee - 4 TAK (2 TFL), 2 Sacks

    Miami:
    Passing: R. Tannehill - 77.6 QB Rating, 17/31 for 262 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
    Rushing: R. Bush - 11 Rushes, 27 yards, 2.5 avg, 1 TD
    Receiving: WR T. Dean - 4 Recs 84 yards / HB R. Bush - 2 Recs, 13 yards, 1 TD
    Defense: Cornerbacks - 9 TAK (2 TFL), 2 INT

Chiefs Pull Away Late, Beat Raiders 31-10

    Picture 7.png

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- It wasn't pretty, but the Kansas City Chiefs were able to pull away late and defeat the visiting Raiders 31-10. The Chiefs scored 21 unanswered in the fourth to continue their win streak, now at 5 games. This was Oakland's sixth straight loss.

Kansas City was led by Jamaal Charles, playing in his first game in over a month since breaking his collarbone. Charles was able to run for 161 yards, including a 45 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter. While the run game of Charles and Stephens-Howling was superb, the Chiefs' passing attack was another story. Matt Cassel threw 2 TDs but also threw 4 interceptions, and completing just 9 of 21 passes. With Cassel struggling the Raiders were able to hang around and the game was tied heading into the fourth.

With 4:32 left, Cassel found Jonathan Baldwin wide open for a 77 yard score, and the lead for good. The Chiefs would force the Raiders to punt again, and with just under two minutes backup TE Tony Moeaki would haul in a 34 yard TD pass to increase the lead to 14. The Chiefs would score again on a sack and fumble return by Derrick Johnson to seal the game.

Are the Packers still user-controlled? And congrats for the 8-0, majesty95. From going 7-9 one season to starting 8-0 the next is a nice turnaround :)

I'd start questioning whether we may have another 16-0 team, but no need to jinx it (you're in the NFC, so it doesn't hurt me if you win out)

No he had to step away. Got busy at work. I announced that in the weekly update a couple of weeks ago. Where you been? Lol

Thanks though. The offseason was focused around plugging our holes and we've done so prety well so far. Hopefully we can keep it up.

    49ers Win OT Thriller

    Cardinals- 37 vs. 49ers- 40

49ers won an epic division show down in OT 40-37. The game was close just about the whole way. The Cardinals offense didn't do much the whole game only accounting for 1 TD while their defense had 2 returns for a TD and their special teams had one as well. The 49ers also had an INT for a TD by 2nd year safety, Trenton Robinson. The 49ers had 3 total INT with the other two coming from Carlos Rodgers. Cardinals had 2 INT both from Patrick Peterson, one of which he took to the house.

The 49ers had the game wrapped up in the 4th quarter until Skelton threw a 58 yard bomb to Byrd despite the Niners prevent defense, that led to the game tying field goal as the clock expired. In OT the Cardinals got the ball first, driving down the field and were held to a field goal. Then the Niners got the ball and Colin Kaepernick led the game winning drive. The drive was jump started by LaMichael James' 42 yard run and the drive was was capped off by a QB sneak by CK for the TD!

Every time these two teams meet it is an instant classic with this match up being the best of them all.

    Stats-
    C. Kaepernick- 16/30, 333 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT, 6 rushes, 30 yards, 1 TD (4 total TDs)
    F. Gore- 19 att, 99 yards
    L. James- 6 att, 55 yards, 1 rec, 9 yards
    K. Britt- 5 rec, 133 yards, 2 TD
    A. Jenkins- 2 rec, 87 yards
    C. Rogers- 3 tackles, 2 INT

    J. Skelton- 13/28, 272 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT
    D. Richardson- 14 att, 51 yards
    L. Byrd- 2 rec, 88 yards, 1 TD
    L. Fitzgerald- 5 rec, 83 yards
    P. Peterson- 2 tackles, 2 INT, 1 TD, 1 KOff TD

    Great game Crunk_Ness
