COLORADO UPSETS OREGON!
Colorado upsets Oregon 30-27 in overtime. Colorado started slowly as Oregon jumped out to a 10 point lead. But Colorado got a field goal, and then a hail mary touchdown as timed expired to the end half, making the score 17-10. Then in the second half, Colorado continued it's surge scoring first making the score of the half on a 24 yard touchdown pass from Hansen to Tony Johnson. The score remained tied for about 14 seconds as Darron Thomas ran 63 yards for a touchdown. And the score remained 24-17 throughout the remainder of the third quarter and fourth quarter as rumors started swirling in Folsom Field that Tyler Hansen was being paid to lose the game. Three times in the fourth quarter the Buffaloes were inside the Oregon 20 yard line, and three times he threw picks. Two of picks were in the end zone. After the last interception, things appeared desperate for the Buffs as they only had 1 timeout. Oregon ran a play, a time out was called. Oregon then ran the ball, then on third down Oregon chose to pass, remember the Buffs have no time outs left, the ball fell to the ground. Oregon punted the ball, and on the first play Hansen hit a wide open TE Ryan Deehan who rumbled 73 yards for a touchdown. In overtime, Colorado held Oregon to field goal. Then Colorado took the ball ran three straight plays, then on 2nd and 12, Hansen threw a pass to Toney Clemmons who ran the rest of the way for the score, and the win.
