Indiana 31 @ #21 Minnesota 34

Minnesota overcomes the Hoosiers!

After a huge win at a top 25 ranked Illini team, Minnesota hosts conference foe Indiana. The Gophers look to keep their BCS hopes alive. They also look to survive without their main threat, Jonathan Pittman.

1st Quarter
The Hoosier defense feels the wrath of the Gopher's speed as John Moore catches a 37 yard pass, 7-0.

2nd Quarter
IU's Darius Willis scores on a 51 yard TD run. 7-6

Hasan Lipscomb comes right back with a "anything you can do, I can do better".

IU scores before the half on a couple missed tackles. The QB breaks it for a 52 yard score, however the offensive unit fails to convert the 2 point conversion, 12-14.

3rd Quarter
IU scores, converts 2 point conversion.

Minnesota wins in OT, Illini kick field goal but Hasan Lipscomb scores the winning touchdown!

Passing
Adrian Ford 13-26 236 2TD 1INT

Rushing
Hasan Lipscomb 31-209 3TD

Receiving
John Moore 3-66 1TD
Paul Jones 3-44
Victor Keise 1-42 TD

You must have been tired when you typed this but Indiana isn't the Illini, they are the Hoosiers. :D

The Oregon State Beavers snapped a losing streak and hope to get back on track. Their hopes of a Pac 10 title are now out of the picture but they are battling for bowl eligibility and placement. The Oregon offense played well but still committed costly turnovers that could have shifted the result in the game. The defense played well enough in despite of the rushing display by Stanford.

The Beavers offense was led by JR running back Jovan Stevenson who rushed for 150 yards on 22 carries with 2 TDs. QB Jon Smith added another 53 yards on 14 carries. Smith also threw for 187 yards on 12 completions with 17 attempts with 2 TDs. His #1 and #2 targets were Jordan Bishop and Kevin Walker who combined for 8 catches with 159 yards and 2 TDs.

Oregon State's defense was led by LB Alex Camat who had 7 tackles and 1 interception. MLB Trey Wilson added 6 tackles and 1 TFL for the core as well. Terry Henry had OSU's only sack and tallied 5 tackles on the D-Line. CB Kyle Parker returned an interception for a TD and Josh LaGrome added another interception.

The Oregon State Beavers (4-4,3-2) need to win out if they want to have a solid bowl game. That will not be an easy task with opponents, USC, Oregon, and Arizona left on the docket.

Oops! LOL, I was drinking while I was posting. I had did a small write-up before I started the game against Indiana at the top of this post. I might have mixed myself up.

TE Stoneburner big in Win Over PSU

This game was back and forth all game.

1st
Alot of scoring in the 1st. Bucks would take 14 and psu 21. Siems would hit a 26 yards pass TD to put the bucks up 7-0 first, but PSU would knock in a 33 yard TD by brusier HB Dukes and pick 6 for a TD.

yea it was stupid

OSU would come back strong with a 79 yards pass over the top to TE stoneburner for a TD. Cimmy would hit his do-it all back on a swing route for another TD. making 14-21 PSU.

2nd
Bucks would make their surge back. Scoring twice here and holding PSU to a FG. Berry would pick up a 19 yard run and TE dillilio would grab a Receiving TD from 15 yards out. Right before the half PSU would drive down for a 33 yard FG.

3rd
The only score here came from siems/berry combo. Berry would bust out on the option and score.

4th
8 points put up here by PSU. Dukes puts it in on the TD and the 2 point. OSU punts to PSU after a 3 and out. BUT holds PSU just out of range of a fg and time expires ...as another Cimmy/BK battle royal goes down in the books.
