Ohio st had a scare this week with a win 17-10 over michigan. I couldnt do shit even though pryor had over 250 yards he only had 1 TD and 1 int. RB herron had 95 rush yards.WR posey 89 receiving yards. not a pretty day for the buckeyes, but they pull out the win.

    Battle for Paul Bunyan's Axe

    #22 Minnesota 27 @ #11 Wisconsin 12

The Gophers came into this game looking to pull the upset. They did and they dominated the Badgers in every category. The Badgers just didn't have any answers for the Gopher offense. The Badger QB's were pressured and sacked all day. Starting QB Kurt Phillips was injured during the game for 2 weeks I believe. The Gophers were able to carry on with life after Pittman. As Duane Bennett went for over 100 yards and a couple scores.

Michigan State went to Happy Valley.. It was not really that happy for the Spartans..

They got hammered. Just like the real spartans got hammered by the Persians.... oh Leonidas where at thou?

i dont even think an army of 300 spartans would have help up vs Penn State today..

5 Turnovers, Poor Tackling lead to a 45-7 loss..

Hats off to Cimmy, GG and well be better next year.

illinois won not easily but won. Cant remember the score i know illinois won by 14. Charest had a pretty good day throwing the ball. He may be the answer for next year. Green had another big day with over 200 yds rushing and 3 tds. He set the illinois record for tds in a career and rushing yds in a season. Final game till bowl game.

    Notre Dame @ Stanford

    Notre Dame 45 Stanford 21

Notre Dame gets a quality win on the road, although not without some difficulty. Dayne Crist throws another 3 picks and gets benched...again. Up next for the golden domers? A date with plummeting Wisconsin at Camp Randell.

Player of the game: Cierre Wood - 16 car, 176 yards, 2 TD

    Cal @ Or St

    Cal 28 Or St. 21

This game began as a offensive struggle and ended as a thriller! Cal struggled to get into the end zone offensively mainly because of turnovers. The first drive for Cal started off with a quick running game and drove down the field only to throw an interception. The Cal's defense held strong forcing punts on the next to drive and an interception in the redzone.

Cal woes continued with another turnover via another interception in the first qtr. It was the defense of Cal that finally put some points on the board by Soph SS M.Taylor who returned an interception 30 yards for the TD.

    2nd Qtr

Or St answered with a very efficient passing attack and continued to neutralize the offense of Cal putting up 14 points to end the half at 14 -7 Or St.

    3rd Qtr

Cal and Or St had problems offensively. At the end of the 3rd qtr Cal's offense rallied and finally started to complete some passes and drive the ball down the field. SR RB S.Vereen was able to punch it in from 3 yards out to tie it up at the end of the half 14-14

    4th Qtr

This was for all the marbles and Cal answered with authority. The defense was finally able to put some pressure on JR QB C.Vaz and force a punt. With the offense momentum going, Cal was able to hit a deep post over the head of Or St's safety for a 41 yard TD. Or St answered with a long drive and a 1 yard QB keeper for the TD. The game is now tied 21-21 and the pressure from Or St's defense intensified. Cal's coach noticed that Or St was now keying on the passing game so he was able to hit the middle of that defense hard with RB S.Vereen. This drive consumed the remaining 1:55 mins of the game and the final score by RB SR S.Vereen from 1 yard out.

But the game is not over yet, on the next possession Cal's SR MLB D.Holt got his 2nd INT and fumbled the ball (Or St recovered) when trying to execute a simple dive to change possession. With 1 second left Or St threw a hail mary on for it to be batted down to end this amazing game.

    Oregon Vs USC

    Oregon : 28
    USC : 24

It was a squeaker. 5 lead changes in the 2nd half lead to a down to the wire finish.

USC got on the board first with a McNeal 3 yard TD Run. Oregon answered back mid way through the 2nd QTR with an INT return TD. USC would kick a FG with 1 minute to go in the half. 10-7 USC

The first score of the second half was Thomas to Lane for 14 yards. 14-10 OU. USC answered back with a TD of their own, Corp to Flournoy for 74 Yards. OU came right back with a a TD of their own, a 7 yard TD run by Parks. 21-17 OU

With 2:37 left in the 4th, USC scored a TD, a 4 Yard run from Tyler. 24-21 USC. OU came back with a 55 yard TD throw from Thomas to Lane to retake the lead. 28-24. USC had time left, but failed to convert a 4th down near mid-field.
