Notre Dame @ Navy

Notre Dame handles Navy...sort of. The Irish were untouchable on offense. Dayne Crist found Shaquelle Evans once and Deion Walker 3 times for TDs. Jonas Gray also punched in a 17 yard run. After playing very well against the fleXbox One attack of Tate Forcier and Michigan, Navy exposed the Irish D for 3 TDs in the 2nd quarter. Irish All-America linebacker Manti Teo admitted that Navy did somethings to "confuse us out there today."
Notre Dame enjoys a week off before traveling to Corvallis to take on a tough Oregon State squad.

*Coach Post Game*
"We played like shit, and we should of lost. 2-8 on 3rd down, multiple stupid penalties. We had an advantage over every team in Bfr. We didn't have a user game until week 7 and that was supposed to give us time to adjust and progress the offense.... but we have regressed and now were playing like shit at the worst time. We have CAL and USC back to back. It's going to be tough and it will probably get ugly for us out there if we played like we have been playing the last couple of weeks."
Blue Upsets Iowa in Iowa City.
One of the historically toughest places to play football in the Big10 is Iowa City..
Michigan walked into kinnick with a chip on its shoulder... after letting ND get away because of sloppy offensive play and poor tackling on defense the Mazie and Blue came to play...
Michigan got the ball and drove down the field but the Hawkeye defense stood tall.. Michigan came out to punt and hit a boomer down in the left corner inside the IA 5... but IA did not fair catch and the Michigan gunner M.Alexander crashed into the IA punt returner and forced a fumble which was scooped up by S. Foster.. 7-0 UofM... IA got the ball back and started driving down but was forced to punt after a failed 3rd down just after midfield. Tate Foricer brought the option attack to the Hawk defense after ripping a 22 yard run it help set up the TD run from Jones from 2 yards out 14-0 after one.
In the 2nd IA showed some life driving the ball down Michigan's throat and punching it in from 1 yard out.. 14-7.. the Hawks forced Michigan to punt again and started its air attack... on 2nd and 8 IA QB dropped back and fired a pass toward a WR coming right to left and the Safety Ford stepped infront of the pass and took off with the ball 21-7 Michigan...
in the 3rd both teams locked down on defense and managed only 1 FG each.
In the 4th qtr H22 mounted a comeback.. after getting a 1 yard TD run from Wegher the Hawk Defense stood strong and stopped the Michigan offense from putting the dagger in the heart of the Hawks... with 3OTs and 2:50mins left to play IA was confident they could tie the game up at 24. As Michigan punted this time to the right corner IA had a block set up but Foster was able to get around the blocker and again IA did not call for a fair catch.... Foster crashed into the returner forcing a fumble. Michigan 1st down inside the Hawk 10 yard line. Michigan would milk about a min off the game clock and punched in the go ahead score 31-17.
