I can't do a full summary on my CPU game for week 1 but I will do a quick blurb.
I hope Darron Thomas gets run over by a bus. He is the worst 90+ overall QB I have used in NCAA 12. I finally benched him in the second quarter after he was unable to complete a pass longer than 4 yards deep. He finished like 6-15 with 23 yards 1 TD/0 INT. The TD was a short screen to Barner. Proving that the problem isn't soley the user, my true freshman QB came in and completed 6 of 6 attempts for 150 yards. This included 2 TD passes of more than 50 yards.
QB situation in Eugene
#1 QB Darron Thomas (SR) - can't hit water from a boat in the middle of the Atlantic
#2 QB Bryan Bennett (R-SO)- worse athlete than Thomas and somehow worse at passing too
#3 QB Trey Young (FR) - easily the best passer in the group and not a terribel athlete, but his awareness very low
Love the two different scores on Dynasty Wire...
45-25 and 47-29.
Oh those guys at EA.

The Trojans put together an impressive ground game 383yds, made enough plays in the air, and held on to the ball without a turnover to put away the SEC powerhouse Gamecocks. USCe struggled to get AA RB Lattimore going as he finished with just 22yds on 10 carries. USCw jumped out to an early 17-3 halftime lead and finished off USCe with a 21 point 3rd quarter.
QB Scroggins 9/16 127yds, 42yds rushing
RB Neal 225yds 3 TD
RB Morgan 59yds TD
Notre Dame 11
The Ducks improved to 2-0 with an UGLY victory against Notre Dame. The offense for Oregon was atrocious, minus one big play. That play occurred on the first drive when Heisman hopeful Kenjon Barner broke loose on a draw play. He finished with a 58 yard score. This would be the last time Oregon's offense reached the end zone in this game. The defense for Oregon out played the offense, at least in this game. The front seven made it tricky for Notre Dame to execute its option attack. Fullback Roberson actually led the team with 52 yards but the quarterback and other running backs combined for just 8 yards on 21 carries. QB Golson struggled running the ball and finished with -12 yards. He did add 184 yards passing but a costly pick in the third quarter cost his team the game. Freshman cornerback Sims picked off the pass and returned it for a score. This pick came after the Oregon's offense gave up a safety. The other big defensive play was a 4th and 1 stop at the goal line. It appeared Roberson crossed the line but no review was conducted on that play. Oregon's offense only had the ball for a few plays in the second half and got just one first down, but it was a critical conversion. Oregon needed a first down to kill the clock and they were able to make that play. the critical play was a pass from true freshman Trey Young, not starter Darron Thomas. Thomas was awful once again and it is undecided which QB will start in week 5 against South Carolina.
Off. Player of the Game - Barner 12 carries 117 yards 1 TD
Def. Player of the Game - Michael Clay 6 tackles 1 sack
Bama jumped out to a 21-7 lead in the 1st quarter after a 94 yard TD run, 34 yard TD run by HB Eddie Lacy, and a 51 yard pass to WR DeAndrew White off of play action. Stanford would return a kickoff 101 yards to put up the first points for Stanford. In the 2nd quarter, Bama scored off of a 16 yard TD pass to TE Michael Williams and kicked a FG as time expired to go into halftime winning 31-7. In the 3rd, backup HB Jalston Fowler would score a TD off a 44 yard run, but Stanford would drive downfield and score a TD off of a 2 yard run by HB Stepfan Taylor. Bama would kick a FG before entering the 4th quarter, bringing the score to 41-14. Stanford sparked a comeback in the 4th, off of a 2 yard run and 61 yard pass, but it was too little too late and Bama wins 41-28. The difference in this game was the 5 turnovers by Stanford and only 1 by Bama. Great game Gravityyyy
Bama's defense came up big in this game, being the major factor that Bama could pull away with the win. The game began with a 35 yard pick-6 by CB David Millner, but the Gators would hold Bama's offense in check and kick a 47 yard FG to end the 1st quarter trailing 7-3. Florida kicked two more FGs to take a 9-7 lead in the 2nd quarter, but a 12 yard touchdown run by Eddie Lacy and a late FG would make the score 17-9 at halftime. The third quarter featured a fumble returned for TD on a punt return and a 2 point conversion for the Gators to spark a comeback in the 2nd half, but a 71 yard TD pass to Kenny Bell and a 7 yard strike to TE Michael Williams would put Bama up 14 points going into the 4th quarter. Both defenses shutdown the opposing offenses in the 4th, and the game would end 31-17. Turnovers were key in this game, as Florida threw 5 interceptions while Bama turned the ball over once off of a fumble. Bama is +8 in turnovers in the past 2 games. Great game fuzzyl0gic
Stanford - 18
LSU - 21
For most of the the game it was just the defenses dominating. The only score in the 1st half was on a deep pass where I usered the safety right out of the play.
So that left the score at 7-0 Stanford at the half. The 3rd quarter saw some scoring, though. Stanford drove to the red zone but couldn't convert and had to settle for a 35 yard field goal. LSU then connected for their first big play of the game when Mettenberger beat the Cover 2 deep for a 76 yard TD.
With the score now 10-7 Stanford, Luck marched Stanford back down the field and read the linebacker blitz well and ran up the middle for a first down, but he didn't slide and Claiborne forced a fumble. Well, Mathieu got his hands on the ball and took the ball 89 yards for a touchdown to put LSU up 14-10.
The 4th quarter saw defense take over again. However, LSU was able to finally put together a real drive and kill about 3 minutes off the clock with a nice drive that resulted in an 11 yard touchdown with just 48 seconds left. Stanford came back with a touchdown and 2 point conversion to pull within a field goal with 22 seconds left, but they didn't get the onside kick and LSU killed the clock to win 21-18.
LSU was fortunate to win this one as they lost the turnover margin 4-1, but the one Stanford turnover was returned for a TD.
Good game Gravityyyy - that one fumble pretty much swung the game.
South Carolina 21
This was a back and forth game with a lot of big plays on both sides. Oregon started fast with a kickoff return TD to open the game. The Ducks added a couple field goals and were up 13-0 in the second quarter. Just before halftime the game got crazy. South Carolina scored on a Shaw to Jeffrey TD pass. After a squib kick the Ducks had time for a Hail Mary. The pass was tipped by the defensive end and went to speedy HB Barner. Barner made a couple defenders missed and score before halftime. In the second half the teams traded possessions with few results. The only score of the third quarter was a short TD by Lattimore. The bruising back scored on a long TD in the fourth quarter and South Carolina took its first lead of this game at 21-20. Oregon made sure this lead did not hold. The run game made some nice plays to get Oregon in scoring range. QB Thomas punched in the score from 31 yards on an option keeper. he outran the SC free safety for the to the corner. The Gamecocks would march down the field and get in scoring range but it came down to a 4th down conversion rate. The South Carolina WR was tackled a yard short of the first down and Oregon regained the ball. Thomas broke a long run to end the game and put it out of reach. He scored an 88-yard TD to kill the game.
Off. Player of the Game: Thomas 11-16 198 1 TD/1 INT; 7 carries 114 yards 2 TD
Def. Player of the Game: T. Hill 3 tackles (2 solo, 1 assisted) 1 interception
After trading possessions to open the game, Oregon got a big play from HB Barner. The speedy tailback scored from 59 yards and put the Trojan's defense on their heels. On the next offensive possession the Ducks struck fast. Thomas found WR2 Blackmon on a screen and the receiver found a lot of space. The play resulted in a 52 yard score. Oregon continued its onslaught on its next offensive possession. The Ducks put together a balanced drive and converted several key drives. This ended in a short score by FB White. The Ducks went into half with a 24-0 lead and upped that lead to 27-0 in the third quarter. USC finally got on the board near the end of the third quarter and closed the gap to 27-7. Barner cancelled out that play on the Duck's next offensive play. He took a counter and found space. The result was a 79 yard score. After that point it was all Ducks. Woods fumbled a kick return and Oregon added another field goal. Then USC QB Kessler fumbled and the ball was scooped by freshman defensive end Dawson. He scored a short TD. The nail in the coffin was a 56-yard TD by freshman HB Davis. The game was long over and the Ducks were just trying to kill the clock.
Off. Player of the Game: Barner 22 carries 219 yards 2 TD
Def. Player of the Game: R. Heimuli 5 tackles (4 solo, 1 assisted) 3 tackles for loss 3 sacks 1 fumble forced
The Irish Defense won this game. They forced TCU into long 3rd down attempts by shutting down Ed Wesley and TCU's running game. Wesley had only 35yards on 13 attempts. The Irish offense missed a chance at of a couple big plays but the offense did it's job of moving the ball and not turning it over. The stats aren't great but a win is a win
LSU - 30
Florida - 10
This game was a complete reversal from last year when LSU kept turning the ball over and ended the game with just 5 points. This year, the freshman QB Carter from Florida couldn't keep it away from LSU with 5 interceptions. On the first drive, he threw a pick that LSU turned into a 42 yard touchdown catch. Florida had a decent drive that resulted in a field goal, but LSU had another TD with a 3 yard run. In the 2nd quarter, LSU continued to keep Florida out of the end zone while scoring on an 8 yard touchdown and a late field goal to lead 24-3 at the half.
To start the second half, it was LSU's turn to throw an interception that was quickly turned into a touchdown by Florida on a 46 yard halfback screen pass to cut the lead to 14. But that was the last time Florida would score and LSU would put up two more field goals for a final of 30-10.
The stats were fairly close in this one as Florida had several nice drives but turnovers just killed them. LSU only outgained the Gators by 5 yards but the 5-2 turnover margin was too much.
Good game fuzzyl0gic - who knows what will happen in the Charlotte Bowl next time. There may even be a rematch in the SEC championship.
Yeah it was a good game. On every play, my routes were all shaky and I couldn't see some of them. My freshman QB was definitely feeling the pressure. Airing it out against LSU and Bama probably netted him 10 INTs, lol, not the smartest game planner am I?? I need to run more, but my backs just aren't that impressive this year. Looking forward to next season, the 'Charlotte Bowl'. I like that!!
BAYLOR - 21
TEXAS - 26
Texas SR HB Monroe carries Longhorns to victory. HB Monroe got the first start of his career for injured Soph HB Brown who is out for the season. HB Monroe carried the pig 26 times for 161 yrds and 2 tds. QB McCoy struggled in his second straight game going 9/21 for 128 yrds 0 tds and 1 int. The horns defense did a great job keeping Baylor QB Griffin contained and not allowing him to run on them.
The 1st qtr started with neither team getting on the board and being forced to punt. The 2nd qtr opened with FB Moss punching it in from 3yrds out to get on the board up 7-0. Texas would get on the board again in the 2nd qtr with a QB sack for a safety to extend the lead to 9-0. Baylor would respond with a 49 yrd screen pass from to Sampson for the score to close the gap to 9-7 with 2:21 left in the half. Texas would drive back down the field and kick a 34yrd FG to make it 12-7. The horns were able to force Baylor to punt with under a minute remaining until halftime. Texas HB Monore would bust one for 32yrds for a TD to push the lead out to 19-7 at halftime.
The 3rd qtr would see both defenses step up and force punts or turnovers. Texas would finally score on a 2yrd run from HB Monroe to make it 26-7. Baylor would answer as time ran out in the 3rd on an 12yrd pass to Reese to get with 26-14.
Baylore would get the only score of the 4th qtr on a 35yrd run to bring it within 5pts at 26-21. Texas was able to get a couple of first downs to run out the clock and secure the victory at 26-21.
good game Papa Perry I was nervous when you converted that 4th down and went down and scored.
Another very tough and grind it out rivalry game between the rival Frogs and Bears that came right down to a GW FG by FR K Jon Baker. HB Ed Wesley ran for 123 yards and a 68 yard scamper that brought back the Frogs to tie the game at 7. QB Casey Paschell went 9/19 with 136 yards and more importantly no INTs. The TCU defense, led by DB Kolby Griffin, who spied QB Robert Griffith had 4 tackles and 3 sacks, held the awesome QB in check and forced him into 4 INTs.
GG as always Perry!!
Gators Get Revenge on Gamecocks
The gamecocks would receive the ball first to open up the game, and from the very first snap on offense, things did no their way today in Gator country. Florida sent a 6 man blitz, and Jenkins put a monster hit on Connor Shaw who coughed up the football. Jenkins went in for a scoop and score to put Florida up 7-0. South Carolina put together a nice drive to tie the game with a 1 yard run my Lattimore. Unfortunately for USC, things fell apart from that point on. The Gator defense forced 7 more turnovers (1 more fumble, 6 INTs) and put the offense in great scoring position all day. Despite Carter having a lousy day himself and throwing 4 INTs, the Gator defense and run game pushed them past the Gamecocks to the tune of a 41-10 victory. Florida lost this game last year, and it costed them a division title. They will re-match a very tough Alabama team in the CCG. GG SatansAngel1104 nothing went your way.
This game, like the first one, was a close game that didn't have a whole lot of exciting plays. The biggest difference between this game and the first was ND players decided to block people this time and Oregon's struggled to hold their blocks. The ND defense was all over any kind of run that the Ducks tried and didn't allow many broken tackles. The defense also came up with 3 turnovers. The biggest of the 3 was a fumble by Barner. After getting the yard the ducks needed to keep a drive alive Barner tried to spin out of a tackle and the ball popped out. A ND defender was there to fall on it. That turnover would eventually lead to a Cierre Wood TD that would make it a two score game with a little over a minute left. Another big key for the Irish was the ability to show some sort of passing game early. Golson had a good day going 8-14 for 130 yards and a TD. The Irish didn't put up staggering numbers in the running game but were able to grind it out on the ground and limit the ducks time on the field offensively.
We've had one game where the blocking went well for each of us and not the other. Hopefully the next game will be good for both
I'm a terrible ass person. Sorry so delayed bravejaf I had 3 of them typed but just never put them up.
Week 4: Oklahoma 34 - TCU 17
After the game nether Twist no I could think of any other experience we've had in any version of NCAA with so many broken tackles, especially with all of them being so one sided. The Horned Frogs simply could not wrap up the Sooners and big plays led to a 27-3 score heading into the 4th quarter. Senior HB Dominic Whaley led the charge on the ground as it took him only 4 carries to put up 110 yards as he broke a 94 yarder form the shadow of his teams own goal line. The true star of the game though was true freshman TE Eric Watkins who managed 171 yards and 2 TD's on only 3 receptions along with about 15 broken tackles.
POTG: TE Eric Watkins - 3 catches for 171 yards and 2 TD's
Week 6: Oklahoma 52 - Baylor 10
This one really did get ugly in a hurry as nothing would go right for Robert Griffin and the Bears and Oklahoma jumped out to a 38-3 lead headed into the 4th. Oklahoma forced Griffin to throw 4 INT's and also lose a fumble and that was enough to keep the momentum train rolling down the tracks for the Sooners. The three OU QB's went 7/8 on the day for 156 yards and 2 TD's and the ground attack rattled off 203 but were led by JR FB Trey Mallard who had 5 carries for 82 yards with a TD and a 66 yard run up the gut. Defensively outside the turnovers forced the OU defense just proved to be too athletic and made big plays at every turn where Baylor started to get a little momentum.
POTG: FB Trey Mallard - 5 carries for 82 yards and 1 TD
Week 7: Oklahoma 24 - Texas 14
This one did not disappoint. Coming in we both knew it would be for the conference title and a hope at a shot for the national championship. Texas jumped out to a 14-0 lead at the start of the 2nd quarter and Coach Jman was more than worried this one was about to get out of hand, and by all accounts it probably should have until Case McCoy who had a 11/1 TD/INT ratio coming into the game managed to throw 5 INTS in the last 3 quarters including one for a pick-6 that put the Sooners up 17-14 and would be the deal breaker. After some huge defensive plays the Sooners inched back into it and after the Gabe Lynn INT TD the SR HB Dominic Whaley and the other backs just ground it out and Whaley's 44 yard scamper in the 3rd for 6 would be the last score of the game. This one really was a great game that SHOULD have gone Texas' way.
POTG: SR HB Dominic Whaley - 12 carries for 97 yards and 2 TD with a long of 44
Week11: Oklahoma 34 - Notre Dame 7
The CPU decided this one from the start. Outside of a bonehead bite on a QB option the Oklahoma OLB's played like beasts shucking blocks and making big tackle after big tackle, whether it was the speed or just the ability of the OLB's they played a huge role in bending and then breaking the Irish running attack as Notre Dame was held to 271 total yards on the day to Oklahoma's 422. Though there were no turnover's by either team the most telling stat was 3rd down where OU was 66% on 3rd but Notre Dame was only 14%. This one leads Oklahoma to the doorstep of an undefeated season and they will now have to sit and wait for the dominoes to fall and see if they can make it into the big game somehow.
POTG: SR HB Dominic Whaley - 20 carries for 103 yards and 1 TD
the national championship game was a thriller. Win or lose this video was going up
holdin mah dick!!
Very spirited and intense game for Coach Twist against a very young but talented Gator team coached by Coach Fuzzy. The Gators jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the 1st quarter on an 8 yard catch by TE Jordan Reed from true freshman QB Dustin Carter. The Frogs came back to make the score 7-3 on a FG by FR K Jon Baker. Florida would add a FG to extend their lead to 10-3 with 1:11 left in the half but QB Casey Paschall would lead a hurry-up offense to drive down the field and tie the score with 1 second left in the half:
The Gators would open the second half on fire after a half-time butt chewing from Coach Fuzzy and would take a 20-10 lead late into the 3rd quarter. The TD was scored on a beautiful WR screen by Andre DuBose that you need to check out from his highlights.
Then with 1 minute left in the third, QB Casey threw up a prayer to his impact WR James Boyce that was misplayed by the Gator DB for a 52 yard TD and more importantly, the momentum.
The next following series would be made by a huge play by the Frog defense:
This INT led to a short TD run by FB Jim Wilson and the final score 24-20.
GG Coach Fuzzy and I hope to play your Gators again next season. I just hope that QB doesn't progress much or we are all in trouble.!!
What a run!!!
