Georgia beats Florida to go 9-0 heading into bye week

The tough part of the season arrived today as the annual cocktail party was scheduled.

Georgia came out on fire and took a 24-0 lead heading into halftime. Our offense seemed to play well whenever called upon as we scored the first touchdown on a 4-yard pass and then after forcing a punt, Ivan Jackson returned a punt 76 yards for a touchdown. He went left, doubled back to the right and had to reverse field and then found some daylight and a few great blocks to make it 14-0.

A Roland Field goal and a short touchdown run by Curtis Bower gave us the lead of 24-0 into halftime.

We threw a pick that got Florida settled down in the second half and Amir Gold caught a 36-yard touchdown pass. We countered with a touchdown drive and another touchdown run by Bower to essentially put the game out of reach at 31-7.

Our defense let its guard down and allowed two more touchdowns by the Gators. We kicked two field goals, and the final score was 37-21.

Ivan Jackson is this year's special teams demon for Georgia. He has two KR touchdowns and added a PR TD in this game. He's also approaching 1,000 yards rushing along with Curtis Bower.

Our offense is really putting up crazy stats this year all around, we have two guys that will rush for 1,000 yds, 3 that will have 1,000 yds receiving, and QB that's threatening to break the 50 passing TD barrier.

    GG Steelah.

Auburn and Clemson coming up... ugh. But this puts us in the SEC title game at the very least.
