    Week 2

    #17 Georgia @ #9 Clemson

The Bulldogs traveled to Death Valley to take on the Tigers of Clemson and would come away with a dominating win. The first half would be a defensive battle as no points were scored until there were 30 seconds left on the clock in the 2nd quarter. Georgia HB Johnson would scamper in from a yard out to give the Dawgs a 7-0 Halftime lead. The Bulldogs would receive the ball the second half and WR Smith would light things up with a 95 yard TD return to give Georgia a 14-0 lead. Penalties would litter the game as Georgia had 5 holding calls to Clemson's 8. It would not slow down the Dawgs as they cruised to a 35-7 victory over the 9th ranked Tigers. Georgia starts their SEC Tour with a home game against the other team from the Palmetto State, the South Carolina Gamecocks.

    Week 3

    South Carolina @ #12 Georgia

~The Bulldogs would begin their SEC Campaign with a thriller against rival South Carolina in Sanford Stadium. The Bulldogs and Gamecocks would trade the lead throughout. Both defenses would play spectacular football as field position was key in this game, as well as turnovers. Georgia would force 2 turnovers throughout, which ultimately won them the ball game. A forced fumble and a scoop and score would give the Dawgs some much needed momentum in the second half. The 4th quarter would be all Georgia as the defense wouldn't give up a point and would hold SC on a crucial 4th and 8 in Georgia territory with the game at 31-24. That would be the final as Georgia would move on to stay undefeated heading into a monster of an SEC game on the road against the LSU Tigers next week.

    #1 Alabama@ #15 Georgia

The monster has been slayed and the monkey shaken from Coach Cimmy's back. #15 Georgia would score 21 points in the 4th quarter to be the top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in Athens 28-27. With 15 seconds left, UGA's Heisman Hopeful QB Mettenberger would connect on a huge pass on a 3rd and long for the go ahead score to give UGA a monster win and Coach Cimmy his first win in Southern Comfort competition.

    Great Game ryty

~The stadium was louder then ever, filled with boos as Coach Cimmy and his Georgia Bulldogs entered Neyland Stadium. Hated rivals given more fuel to the fire when Coach Cimmy shocked the NCAA Nation and stepped down from the Vols after one season. Tennessee was out for blood and there would be plenty of red covering the field...Bulldog Red. Georgia took care of Tennessee easily, 38-10 in what was a one sided affair as the #11 Bulldogs and #12 Vols looked to be one of the best games of the season. Tennessee, with a new image, came out with a triple option, fleXbox One style running attack, that only managed 49 total yards. The Georgia Defense played spectacular football. Holding Tennesse to only 1 out of 5 redzone chances and 6 of 13 3rd downs. Dawgs QB Zach Mettenberger had another Heisman worthy performance, going 13 of 21 for 338 monster yards and 4 TDs, with 1 interception that got buried in the stats. Mettenberger would scatter the ball around the field, but WR Brown would be his favorite target. Brown managed 4 receptions for 146 yards and 2 TDs. HB Phillip Johnson wouldn't have a great day running the ball, but had 3 receptions for 100 yards including a huge screen that went 73 yards for a TD. LB Flowers led the Bulldog defense with 13 tackles, 3 TFLs and a Sack. The defense would cummulatively collect 15 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and 2 Sacks, as well as 1 interception that came in the Georgia endzone in the beginning of the game to take away the Vols opening momentum. Georgia sits waiting for the result of the Florida/LSU game as they sit one game behind the Gators in SEC East action. With the Florida game in Athens just 3 weeks away, that meeting is setting up to be bigger then ever.

~The Bulldogs and the Gators would meet for the World's Biggest Cocktail Party. The anticipation for both teams was high and each were looking to get on the field. Coach Cimmy is yet to secure a win against SDid and his Gators, but he was hoping the Georgia Bulldogs would give him the leap he needed. What he wasn't expecting, was to open up with a 31-0 lead. Georgia's offense and defense would dominate Florida in the beginning to put the game away early. Georgia jumps ahead of Florida for a spot in the SEC Championship, and is looking to be taking on the Crimson Tide who they upset 28-27 earlier in the season.

Georgia punches their ticket to the SEC Championship game after defeating rival Auburn 28-21 in an intense football game! With only rival Georgia Tech remaining on their schedule, Georgia is staring the SEC Championship in the eyes and a possible NCG bid. Standing in their way is Alabama, who lost to Oklahoma St 31-26 this week, and still has to play Auburn before they earn their SEC CCG bid. If Bama loses to Alabama, get ready for a rematch of the Georgia v LSU game, which is the Bulldogs only blemish on the season. Georgia is watching some important games coming up to get into the NCG race. Michigan and Penn State sit on top of the standings, but don't play each other this season. Michigan still has a test against Ohio State and PSU plays a scrappy Memphis team and at Oregon as they seem to be the biggest obstacles. Miami still faces Bama and has the ACC Championship game to deal with. West Virginia is another team in the way as they have 3 straight road games to finish the season against Washington St, Cinncy, and the biggest test, #16 Maryland.
