    Georgia Game Summaries

After cruising in game 1 of the season had 2 epic battles with So Carolina(Cimmy24) and Arkansas(DogSlax41), both games trailed by double digits in the 2nd half and game back to win both games. Of course they were done in two different ways, against So Carolina my D stepped and returned two picks for TD's(was pretty lucky) and a late fieldgoal sealed the deal. In the other game against Arkansas my offense came alive in the 4th quarter scoring 21 pts then i just barely held off a late Hog drive to secure the victory.

Georgia (3-0) to start the year

Georgia over looks Oregon St in the rose bowl and puts up a dud. to many turnovers to count including last two possesions were cox was picked in the red zone.

Georgia finishes 11-2 good year but that bowl game would of been nice, next year we make some noise. Watch out for the Dawgs

Georgia pulls out a big comeback win from behind after being down 35-7 to Tennessee, the game started off bad with 2 Turnovers on first 2 possesions that led to Tennessee TD's. Overall for the day 3 fumbles and 5 interceptions were almost The Dawgs downfall, freshman QB Mettenberg had to step in after starter QB Gray was sidelined with an injury, the freshmen looked shakey at best throwing 4 picks, but seem to settled down late in the game to lead the comeback and played solid in the 3 OT's. Hopefully this will give the kid some confidence because Gray is out for 5 weeks.

    Georgia 55- Tenn 52

    No #1 for Georgia

Georgia despite keeping on winning has dropped in the polls to #3, a big win against Vandy keeps The Dawgs undefeated for 2010.

Charles not yet to much depth at TE right now but he should be a starter next year, hopefully his run blocking ratings go up, because he definately will be number 1 recieving option at TE. Next year Murray and Mettenberger will be battling for the starting Qb job and if Gray stays he'll be a change of pace QB. Mettenberger has a stronger arm in the game with 90 TP and 88 TA but Murray has a little more speed and agility.

Georgia gets a nice win over #6 Notre Dame 28-23 at South Bend. Georgia leading by 10 late in the 4th quarter fumbled giving ND some life they drove down the field scoring a TD then went for 2 when Georgia's Defense stepped up and made a big play stopping Clausen on a broken play scramble, then ND recovered the onside kick with 35 seconds left and one timeout. Luckily Georgia's defense made some big plays and eventually stopped ND to preserve the Victory. It got scary there for second.

Next up a revenge game against the Gators.
