Bulldog post-game analysis here...
So my first game as Georgia has to be at home, in the rain, in a rivalry game, against South Carolina.
Boy did the Bulldogs pick a bad day to go fishing.
South Carolina- 40
South Carolina- 13
South Carolina- 32-133-1
South Carolina- 17-34-3
South Carolina- 212
Georgia- 2(1 fumble returned for TD, 1 INT returned for TD)
King got hurt in the first quarter, didn't come back until late 4th.
Couldn't get any protection.
Defense was a victim of bad field position the whole game due to the inability to establish the run, which led to the inability to establish the play action pass, which made outright passing ridiculous.
We'll get 'em next week.
So the defense came to play today and the offense saw a spark from Caleb Cox and AJ Green.
Georgia- 1 INT
Arkansas- 3 Fumbles
Game ball goes to Caleb King for his rushing efforts today although he did drop a couple balls that would have led to first downs early in the game.
Georgia seeks improvement from its quarterback Joe Cox, as his pocket mentality is too short-sighted and his throws are rushed and he doesn't lead his receivers well enough. There is evidence in this because in a few passes to Green, he was wide open and didn't get any YAC due to a bad throw regardless of the catch.
We should stay in the top 25, although with this piddling offense, we're walking the plank already as far as the coach is concerned.
Til next week, UGA UGA UGA!
Georgia piles it on Bowling Green 38-7 to go 3-1 on the season.
Game ball goes to Brandon Boykin, the sophomore cornerback. Boykin had 3 tackles on defense today but also returned the only Bowling Green kickoff for 98 yards and a touchdown to start the second half.
Bowling Green- 7
Bowling Green- 15
Bowling Green- 255
Bowling Green- 27-69-0
Bowling Green- 17-36-1
Bowling Green- 166
Bowling Green- 0
Bowling Green- 9:42
Georgia gets pounded by LSU at home, 34-7.
Good game, sir.
I just want to say i have alot of respect for you for playing through the whole game like a man, trying to the end and not complaining about anything at the end of it. That was a strong effort on both sides and who knows next year it could be the other way round.
