    Georgia Tech vs. Clemson

Well not much to say really....(I will post the highlight videos when I get home from work)

Except for that GT got a foot stuck up there ass last night.

We started the game receiving the ball and on the very 1st play of the game FB J. Dwyer goes 80+ Plus yards up the gut on Clemson to go up 7-0.......

Boy would the tides change in Bobby Dodd Stadium. After a great 1st series holding Clemson to punt on their 1st offensive series, GT's Roddy Jones fumbles the ball and gives Clemson the ball inside the GT redzone.

    Clemson ties the game 7-7

Then all hell breaks loose. I get the ball back and throw an aweful, and I mean AWEFUL interception into double coverage when I had Roddy Jones wide open in the middle of the field 10yds behind coverage.

    Clemson Scores 14-7

Then I end up having three straight batted/tipped/fluttered passes go straight up in the air and intercepted by a combination of D-Lineman and LB's.

Oh and other than the 1st play of the game my offensive line played like 2008 Detriot Lions.

My defense actually did a decent job as much as they were on the field. Good game by DrunkenSoldier, he's a very good player w/a good team.

But I hope your PS3 gets struck by lightning. J/K

    #23 Georgia Tech @ Miami

    Final:

    GT: 20
    Miami: 3

Georgia Tech makes up for a huge disapointing loss at home to Clemson by traveling to Miami and playing discipline football. No fumbles, turnovers, or Int's in this game as GT ran there triple-option attack headed by #21 Dwyer. Georgia Tech's D-Line played excellent also applying heavy pressure on Miami's QB with 3 and 4 rushers only. Great game and win. See videos below.

#23 Georgia Tech vs. #11 North Carolina

    Final:

    Georgia Tech: 42
    N.Carolina: 7

Tar Heels got the ball to start the game and on their 1st drive go straight down the field on GT to score a TD. Well that would be the last time North Carolina would score as GT's "D" stepped it up after a hardcore ass-chewing on the sidelines. Georgia Tech moved the ball up and down the field with their triple-option attack racking up over 300 yds rushing. GT's passing game is finally coming along after a slow start this season. Nesbitt connected with both Wr's Earls and Melton on long TD passes.

Next week GT travels to SEC opponent Miss. State Bulldogs. At the post game conference Coach Johnson was asked how the team was so efficient the past two weeks against Miami & N.Carolina and dismal versus Clemson. Johnson responded "well we had are heads up our asses and we turned the ball over five times. We will get to see them again, hopefully sooner than later."

    Georgia Tech @ Miss. State

    Final

    GT: 45
    Miss. State: 6

Ugly game for Miss. State, they are just aweful on both sides of the ball. Memphis who I played in week 1 was a much better skilled and coached team....sad. GT ran, pass, and laughed at the State ball club as we notched another W in the win column. See video highlight & picture. Enjoy.

    Georgia Tech @ Florida State

Georgia Tech traveled into a hostile crowd @FSU.

    Final:

    GT: 7
    FSU: 24

FSU's D-Line Bitch-slapped GT's O-line for most of the game. The game was closer than it appears being that GT had a chance to go into the half only down 10-7, but choke artist Josh Nesbitt coughed the ball up inside the FSU 10-yd line and we went into the half down 10-0.

GT was also stuffed inside the FSU 5-yd line on a short 4th & 1 play also. In the 2nd half the momentum was all towards FSU and playing catch-up is not geared for the GT offense.

Georgia Tech's ACC Coastal Division hopes look pretty dim.

    Georgia Tech @ Virginia

Georgia Tech goes on the road and takes care of business.

After knocking off Virginia Tech last week at home, GT takes out a (5-1) Cavilers ball club. GT had its struggles to start off the game, but then GT's triple option attack began to click.

WR #8 D. Thomas had the play of the game with a "Willie Mays" type catch over his head for a huge gain.

With the win the Yellow Jackets are still alive in the ACC Coastal Division where they hope to get to the ACC Championship in Tampa. They will be paying close attention to the Virginia Tech ball game as they still on have one loss (from Tech) in the ACC.

Georgia Tech defeats Vanderbilt on the Road

    Final:

    GT: 24
    Vandy: 21

Georgia Tech goes on the road and wins a game the "hard" way. Only down 7-6 at half, GT had several opportunities to get the lead & take control of the game. After intercepting a ball inside Vandy territory GT threw an aweful INT in the redzone. Later in the game inside the Vandy 10-yd line, on a 4 & Inches GT attemped a Qb sneak which ended in a turnover. (I accidently pressed the square button after snaping the ball and dived directly to the ground). Roddy Jones also had a critical fumble in GT's territory on a simple sweep play also.

But GT pulled themselves together and tied the game up 21-21 with 1 sec on the clock to go to OT.

In OT, GT looked to be moving the ball well on the ground to then be stopped short and facing a 4th down and 4. GT decided to kick the short FG to go up 24-21

On Vandy's 1st offensive play, the Vandy QB threw an INT to end the game and keep GT's win streak alive.

I will post the stats later tomm. Video highlights below.

    Georgia Tech vs. Wake Forest

    Final:

    GT: 31
    Wake: 13

Georgia Tech keeps there win streak alive to four in-a-row with a big ACC win over Wake Forest. From the get-go Wake go not get any offense going which kept there tired defense on the field all day against the nations #2 rush offense in the country. GT played superb on defense all day applying pressure to Riley Skinner.

The big win keeps GT in the lead of the ACC (Coastal) Division, ahead of Virginia Tech. With a win next week against Duke, GT will lock up a spot in the ACC Championship, more than likely against Florida State who beat them up pretty bad eariler in the year in Tallahassee.

    Highlights of game action below.

    Georgia Tech routs Duke 70-7

Georgia Tech played possibly there most complete game in all 3 phases of the game. QB Nesbitt by far had his best game of the season both passing and rushing. FB Dwyer passed the century mark racking up over 1000-yds by week 11.

The win over Duke locks GT in for a trip to Tampa in a Re-Match with #3 ranked and undefeated Florida State for the ACC Title game. GT gets a bye week before coming home in week 13 to play Georgia.

    Total Offense: 556
    Rushing: 42-392-5

    FB J. Dwyer 11-124

    Wr. D. Thomas 5-140-1

    OLB: K. Jackson (2) Sacks

    Georgia Stuns Georgia Tech

    Final:

    Georgia: 35
    GT: 28

GT got caught looking ahead to the ACC Championship game against FSU....

Turnovers were the main reason GT lost this game. Nesbitt had (2) Int's, Wingback R. Jones had (2) Fumbles in an ugly game played in the rain.

Very disapointing to lose a game like this when we were on a great roll on offense & defense.

Now GT has to beat FSU in a rematch in order to spoil FSU's National Championship hopes & get a BCS Bid for themselves.

Minus the early INT I made in the game against Cox.

Felt like it was a home game for Georgia.

Georgia tech loses to FSU 21-7

Was up 7-6 late in the 3rd. But too many penalties destroyed are chances as we kept moving FSU down the field for them.

    (7) Face Mask Penalties in the game!

Just couldnt move the ball on FSU's Defense. Too Fast. Were too slow.

Georgia Tech defeats BYU in the Gator Bowl

    Final:

    GT: 58
    BYU: 21

Georgia Tech stops the bleeding from the past two weeks by pounding the BYU Cougars all day in the inaugural Gator Bowl.

With the Bowl win, GT finishes the year at 10-4 record with a team that returns all but 6 seniors. With what Coach Johnson feels is a strong recruiting class he feels next year will breed even more competition and a more potent offensive attack.

BYU just couldnt block the All Cream of the Crop OLB Kyle Jackson who menaced the BYU Quarterback all day. (Including a safety)

On offense Nesbitt got his swagger back racking up over 100 yds rushing, and 200yds passing.
