GIANTS 32 - 28 SEAHAWKS The Giants arguably come into this 2017 campaign with one of the toughest schedules. Again, we can only assume that the teams play to there potential. Week 4 the Seahawks come into town...being one of the only remaining undefeated squads. They have been known to play above and beyond there potential. The Giants needed there very best on Sunday. Without there star HB David Wilson sidelined for 2 weeks, Mr. Blount slides into the starting role. With an absolute scary stellar secondary, the Giants come into the game determined to muscle there opponent. The Giants would score the first points of the game with a fg by Hauschka. Then slowly went down hill. The Seahawks took advantage of mistakes and put the Giants in a hole at half being down by 3 scores. Threatening to cut the lead to 14-10...Nassib got a ball tipped and Patrick Peterson picked it off. This resulted in another score and put the Hawks up 21-3. Clearly the Giants had work to do and it seemed to be a bit far fetched, solely cause the Giants would have to lean on the arm of Nassib. Well sure enough the Giants D stepped up big. Forcing 3 and outs as well as a big turnover. Jaq Williams slid under a route and picked Wilson off setting the Giants up. HB Devon Armstrong would eventually punch it in from 5yds out to inch the Giants closer. The Giants kept the heat coming as they began to fluster Wilson. Nassib just went off...connecting 7 times with Victor Cruz who shredded the Hawks D in the second half. Down 28-25 with 4 minutes remaining...the Giants went to the ground game. Blount took the bulk of the load as he would just pound and pound. Finding holes and making them. He would tally up 123yds on 21 carries keeping the Hawks honest. This opened up the passing game for Nassib. With 40 seconds remaining on 3rd and 1 Nassib hit Scheffler over the middle in the endzone to take the lead and eventually seal the win. GG Jim. Absolute shoot out.
