In there first meeting of the season the Giants/Eagles game started with a bang. On the opening kickoff the Eagles would receive the ball, only to see the first 10 seconds of possession in there hands get taken away from Desmond Bishop who made a monstrous hit on the returner jarring the ball loose and setting the Giants up early. For the Eagles, chalk up somewhat of a victory as they held them to a FG.

The Giants defense which has been consistent in recent weeks kept it up. Showing multiple looks and getting pressure through out the game. The rush D has been the biggest asset. Lead by Jon Beason in the middle who had 5 tackles and a forced fumble as well as Desmond Bishop who along with that forced fumble on the kickoff, had 4 tackles and a sack....rank 2nd in the league in rush defense. They showed it against arguably the leagues best HB Lesean McCoy. Giants made it frustrating for the Eagles as they held McCoy to 14yds on 11carries.

The Manning/Cruz connection was the bright spot on offense for the Giants. Cruz hauled in 7 recs for 97yds and a td to help lead the Giants to there 2 division victory of the year.
