The Aggies start off their season with a victory over the Lobos. Not much competition as NM only managed 114 yards of total offense, 48 passing and 66 rushing, to TAMU's 441. QB Jerrod Johnson had a huge day as he went 10 for 18 for 214 YDs and 3 TDs in the victory.

The Aggies traveled to Alabama to take on the Tigers of Auburn. War Eagle wouldn't be enough as the Aggies cruised to a victory on the road. QB Johnson had another 3 TD game and has not relinquished an interception. Auburns stud HB Ben tate was held to merely 61 yards on 12 carries in the game.

A massacre in College Station as the 2-0 Aggies take care of the Blazers in a slobber knocker. UAB had nothing for the Aggies as TAMU opened up a 44-0 halftime lead before taking the ball on the ground and controlling it the second half. UAB only managed 150 yards of offense to TAMU's 419. The time of possesion was lopsided as TAMU controlled the pigskin for 19:54 compared to UAB's 7:37. Another 3 TD game for Jerrod Johnson as he manages 252 yards passing and no interceptions. Sophomore WR Jeff Fuller was the target on the day with 4 receptions for 121 yards and 2 TDs.

The Aggies bowl over the Razorbacks 49-20. Arkansas didn't have an answer for TAMU and the Aggies send the pigs to an 0-4 start to the season as they move to 4-0. HB Cyrus Gray had a breakout day tallying 108 yards and 2 TDs on 11 carries. The spotlight shown on the passing game once again as QB Jerrod Johnson lit up the Arkansas secondary. Johnson went 13 for 20 for an astonishing 343 yards and 4 TDs in a season high day. WR Jeff Fuller would be the man of the day receiving 6 of those passes for 195 yards and 2 TDs. Texas A&M takes care of their final OOC foe before taking on the rowdy Cowboys of Oklahoma St in College Station. Gig 'Em Aggies!!!

    Aggies In Slump

Texas A&M is reeling after back to back Big12 conference losses. Now 4-2, the Aggies have dropped their last 2 games to Oklahoma St and Kansas St.

"We've just gotten into a rut. Our offensive line hasn't been able to stop pressure and our defense has had a hard time stopping the passing in the middle of the field," coach said in this mornings press conference.

College Station is filled with critics looking for their beloved Aggies to turn things around before it is too late for coach Cimmy and the "For Sale" signs really start to appear.

"Right now we are focusing on Texas Tech. Beating them could heal some wounds and send us in the right direction. We are not out of the chase by no means. The Big12 is a strong conference and upsets can happen any week. We're not giving up yet."

A victory over in-state rival Texas Tech could vault the Aggies to a rebound. Look to see some possible changes along the front line of the Aggie Offense. Coach Cimmy informed us that he will stick with Jerrod Johnson as his 3 TD game got him back on track after his debacle agaisnt Oklahoma St. A&M was down 38-21 with a little over 1 minute left in the game against KSU and Johnson was able to bring them back after a quick score and a successful onside kick. With 20 seconds left the onside kick was nearly perfect, but the KSU defender was able to dive what seemed like 10 feet to fall on the lose football. A heartbreaker for the Aggies, but fire has been lit under the ass of the boys in Maroon.

Aggies get back on track with a dominating performance over in-state rival Texas Tech. The TAMU defense would play lights out football and the offense could not be stopped. The Aggies total 484 yards of total offense to Tech's 262. QB Jerrod Johnson had an outstanding day missing on only 1 pass, going 13 for 14 for 303 yards and 4 TDs. Tech Taylor Potts struggled as he went 17 for 33 for 276 yards 2 TDs, but 3 INTs. HB Cyrus Gray had a very good day as well with 174 yards and a TD on 27 attempts. The Aggies face the Cyclones of Iowa St next.

    UPDATE

The Aggies have won 3 straight and are lighting fire under the asses of Oklahoma St and Texas in the BigXII South. A win in week 9 over Iowa St was done in stunning fashion. A 34-14 Final score didn't give this game justice. The Cyclones and TAMU exchanged the lead throughout the game until A&M rallied and forced turnovers late to pull away.

In week 10, TAMU faced the#24 Colorado Buffs and would come away with a thrilling victory. Down 24-14, TAMU would surge on turnovers and a missed FG by CU late. A 24 yard TD pass from Jerrod Johnson to Morrow would give TAMU the lead. CU QB Hawkins would throw an interception with seconds remaining to seal the game for the Aggies.

Texas A&M has a tough schedule ahead of them as next week they travel to face the Sooners before they return to College Station for their final two games of the season...a sure dogfight with Baylor and then a meeting with the hated Longhorns in what could be a huge game to determine the BigXII South's entrant to the BigXII Championship Game in Dallas.
