GMen Come on Late to Take Down Division Rivals

    SKINS 28 - 49 GMEN

    The Giants have been a slightly up and down team all season long. Losing some nail biters and winning some big. But now they've found themselves in a tough spot as they need some help to have a chance at the playoffs. It starts with winning out there next 3 games.

    Throughout the year the Giants have had there share of obstacles to overcome. From developing an un-drafted QB to be there starter, to there star CB(Tharold Russell) injured for 5 weeks. They plain and simple haven't been running on all cylinders. But as of late there has been noticeable improvement.


    This week 15 battle between 2 rivals always has its share of fireworks. Today the Skins were relentless early on, going blow for blow with the GMen. Giovanni Bernard would break a long 85yd run to pay dirt to tell the GMen "were here to play". After a Blount TD the Skins came roaring back as Johnny Football hit Kenan Miller for a 21yd TD. It wasnt till the second half that the Giants got things rolling. The connection from "The Button" Ben Franklin to ODB Jr. was seemless as the 2 connected twice for TDs, helping the GMen seperate themselves in the 2nd half. A strong defensive effort from the secondary helped secure a victory.
