24 - 21 In back to back weeks the The New York Football Giants knocked off 2 hot teams, the Chicago Bears and Philly Eagles ironically by the same score of 24-21. Sunday at Soldier Field however had a playoff feel as Big Blue new they were going to have there hands full with arguably one of the best defenses in the league. The Giants knew they were bringing the #1 offense into town and were excited to take on the test. Pregame we spoke with owner James Music and he clearly stated that we are finally starting to find our stride. He also added the last 2 weeks of practice have been focused solely on defense and forcing turnovers. Well said cause his team showed it in week 6. The Giants held the Bears to under 100yds passing and forced 3 turnovers on the day. The Giants pass rush finally came alive as they sacked Cutler 4 times. Jaq Williams highlighted the defense with 2 ints. The offense stayed true to there league leading totals by accumulating over 200yds passing and 100yds on the ground. WR Hakeem Nicks had a respectable game hauling in 3 catches for 69yds and 2 scores. Also one of the biggest headlines that came from today was the injury to David Wilson. Who in the 2nd qtr got knocked out of the game with a broken jaw. This will sideline him for 6 weeks.
