    Great HOF Class

Can't help but get goosebumps watching Jerry, Emmitt, Rickey Jackson, John Randle, Russ Grimm and Dick Lebeau go into the HOF.

Guys started going in a few years back that we grew up watching if you are close to or right above 30 years old.

I remember going out in the yard pretending to be these guys. Let alone what I did on Madden and Super Tecmo Bowl as these guys. I use to kill it with jackson and Swilling on that game with the Saints lol.

Emmitt is still my favorite athlete ever. Reason why I'm a boys fan and was my first favorite Gator.

I know I'm not the only one.

I hate emmitt but love the others only because of the fact he stayed around just to take and break Walters record. He wasnt even the best back in his era

and that matters why? if he hadn't broke the record he'd still be in. No need to "hate" a guy because he had a goal and accomplished it.

The NFL doesn't keep you around if they cant use you bro. Money is not guaranteed they take a small hit and drop your ass if they have no use for you. Did you ever think that maybe the Cowboys and the NFL wanted him to do it too for marketing and the money could make off of it, it wasn't all about him.

God forbid he wanted to break the all-time NFL rushing record. What a jackass he is.

Yes thats true but it was still him that wanted it as well. Dont get me wrong he was a great back. I just dont feel he deserved the record over Payton.

Haha...it's true. Look at his career stats. Not even close to HOF material, his name and legacy got him in though.

So what? Playing second fiddle to Barry Sanders isn't shameful. What Emmitt accomplished will be almost impossible to replicate. Point blank period.

People don't remember how dominate Emmitt really was...put it this way...he averaged over 11 touchdowns at year...for 15 years. The few he spent in Arizona were horrible.

    Consistent and a Winner=HOF

Emmitt had 11 straight years of over 1,000 rush yards and a three-time superbowl champ.

then on top of that, he's the all-time lead rusher. So I guess all those combine do that. Haha
