With the departure of Sporty the league was missing an insider so I thought I'd step in! I'm sure I won't be as good as the recently departed sporty but I will try my best!

    Pete's Days Numbered?!?
At 0-2 Saints looking for answers

    New Orleans

The coaching staff didn't know what to expect to start the season. They were brought in last year to try and save a sinking ship, and did a decent enough job to be given a 2 year extension, but 2 games into this season and there are questions swirling the Saints camp with none bigger than the future of offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr. The front office has been rumored to be in the market for a coordinator who emphasizes more of a run game, as the pass happy offense that Pete is running has led the team into making some costly mistakes in some very inopportune times. Rumors are that Mark Ingram is not happy, and that the team want to feed him, as well as their rookie running back, the ball much more often, in an attempt to open up the pass game even more. When will this switch happen??? Will it happen at all???

Broncos Early Season Trade Shocks Coaching Staff
GM went over the coach's head to bring in Sanchez

Are they really laughing with you Brian Xanders, or at you???

    Denver, Colorado

The offseason was a rather quiet one for the Broncos. They knew that after last year they had to go out and get a QB, and so they did, drafting Jaxon Boone in a move that many saw as a really good one, given the struggles that Orton had last season. Then, in perhaps the most shocking deal in this offseason, the Broncos ship out Tebow, whos days were numbered anyways, and bring in Mark Sanchez from the Jets. The move was an obvious cap relieving one from the Jets' perspective, but what could have the Broncos possibly have gained with this trade? What happens to Boone, who was projected to be their starter this year, especially given the fact he was drafted 15th overall in the draft. Coach John Fox could not be reached for comment but many sources say that he is livid with Xanders' decision to bring in Sanchez, as he saw Boone as "his guy" and believed he was given the rights to pick him in the 1st round for exactly that reason. Now, the Broncos face an ugly situation where both Sanchez and Boone come into the team expecting to start, and with the GM and Coach not seeing eye to eye on this one, things could get messy real quick in Denver.

    Boldin on the Block???
Ravens Looking to trade WR, even after league 'stimulus' package

    Boldin saying his goodbyes?

    Baltimore, Maryland

After the league wide stimulus package, it was believed that the Ravens were done with trading/cutting guys for cap purposes, however league sources have stated that this is not the case, as star WR Anquan Boldin is still being actively shopped around. The Ravens Front Office was shopping Boldin around in the offseason, and rumors were that there was at least one very interested team that wanted to deal for Boldin during the draft, but the two teams could not come to an agreement. Now, it looks like the Ravens are back at it, trying to get Boldin off the books now, before he declines in overall abilities in the near future. What teams would be interested in him right now though? The Cowboys certainly were rumored to be looking at bringing in another WR, could they make a play for him? This will be an interesting story to follow and see whether or not the Ravens can get a deal done before the Week 6 trade deadline.

    Houston...We Have a Problem
Erratic Schaub Displays leave QB in Doghouse

    Houston, Texas

After this week's performance against the Falcons, it seems like the Texans' coaching staff has finally had enough of Matt Schaub. Last year Schaub was one of the more erratic QBs in the league, having a great connection with WR Andre Johnson, but with everyone else....not so much. Schaub also has the dubious record of the most INTs in a game with 8 in a game last season, and with his benching in this week's game, it seems like his days in Houston are numbered. Vince Young already has the fans by his side, as the Houston native has been a big fan-favorite in his short time with the franchise. Will VY be given the reigns of this offense? How will Andre Johnson react to this change? Will the Texans look to trade Schaub away before the Week 6 trade deadline? Lots of unanswered questions at this point, but all eyes will be on the Texans next week to see who gets the nod as the starting QB.

    L.T. to forego retirement??
Working out with a team willing to give him 2 year deal

After reports surfaced that L.T. was thinking about retiring after being released by the Jets this past offseason, rumor has it that he has been working out with an unknown team that is willing to give him a two year deal. The 33 year old L.T. was quoted as saying that he wants to give it "one final go" and that hopefully he can "finall fulfill his dream of playing in a Superbowl". It is unclear what kind of role L.T. will have with the unknown team, however, with them willing to pay his 3 million a year contract, it seems pretty clear that the team has some plans for him. Looking around the league it is unclear who would be willing to reach out towards L.T., but most reports have indicated that the team is in the AFC. Is that because the NFC teams do not seem to be in need of a RB? Or is there more information that we are currently not aware of?

    This is Jerry's World...
and we just living in it

    Dallas, Texas

Reports are swarming that Jerry is hours away from agreeing a deal to bring in that RB his team has been dying for since year 1. Many thought Felix and Demarco would have been enough for this high octane offense, but apparently it wasn't, and even though the team is rolling at 3-0 they still feel like they need to make this move to take the next jump and be superbowl champs. The deal involves the Falcons and their star HB, Michael Turner. Turner would bring a physical force to the run game that the team currently does not have, and the Cowboys' coaches have stated several times over the course of the past 2 seasons that they would love to have a running back that could run between the tackles and get the tough yards. The deal involves Demarco heading to Hotlanta, but right now is awaiting the conference amongst the Front Office and Dallas coaches about whether or not they are willing to trade their whole draft next season in order to bring in Turner. More news as it becomes available...

    JStew Future Uncertain
Running Back Wants Starting Role Somewhere

With DeAngelo Williams still being in Carolina, and looking to get the majority of the carries as the #1 in Carolina, Jonathan Stewart has reportedly asked to talk to his coach about his status for next year. Reports claim that Stewart is unhappy at playing second fiddle, and would like a chance to prove himself as an every day starter whether it is in Carolina or elsewhere. Stewart would end up bringing in alot of talent if the Panthers did decide to trade him, with teams like Seattle being mentioned as a team that would be interested in his services. The Seattle coaching staff has made it no secret of their admiration of Jonathan Stewart, and while Marshawn Lynch has been getting it done recently, I am sure that the Seahawks wouldn't think twice to pounce on Stewart if they found out he was available. What will the Panthers do with 2 all star running backs, both wanting to carry the ball the majority of the time? Coach Bob has alot to think about come the offseason.
