Hard Knocks Season 2: Capture the Moment
Post your videos / screen shots!
You must have had the controller ready to take that screen shot of the helmets with the score. Shit looks dope, wanted to get that shot!
Both teams were in need of a victory as they came into this game with 0-1 records. The 1st half was a defensive battle or offensive struggle. Blair Walsh would get the Vikings on the board with a 21 yard field goal, 3-0. The 2nd quarter would be a snooze fest and neither team could muster up any points. Cutler would hit the FB on a play action pass to the flats for a 6-3 lead on the 1st drive of the 2nd half. The Vikings answered back with a 21 yard strike to rookie Dulan Cunningham on a post flag route off a play action that froze the corner, 10-7. With about 6 minutes left the Bears and Cutler took the field again. Putting together a masterful drive, they made it 3 where Matt Forte would punch it in. Down 14-10 with under 2 minutes left to play and 2 timeouts remaining, the confidence gaining Bridgewater would not be denied. Making a couple of key plays on a 4th and long, two different times. At the 6, Teddy B found Cordarrelle Patterson on a slant route in the end zone for the winning touchdown! The Vikings would hang on to win 17-14.

Week 1 Redskins vs Giants
Colts 26 Falcons 23
Both teams came in 0-2 desperately in need of a win. The Colts were able to take the victory in this sloppy contest.
The Colts got on the board first on the only score of the first quarter on a pick 6 by Vontae Davis.
The second quarter was all Atlanta as they outscored the Colts 17-3.
Atlanta RB with a great move in open field to give Atlanta a 10-7 lead.
Atlanta dominating the line of scrimmage in the redzone to go up 17-7 before half. They would take a 17-10 lead into the half.
The Colts defense stepped up in the 3rd quarter shutting the Falcons offense down. Their offense managed two Fgs and the Falcons held a 17-16 lead into the 4th.
In a wild 4th quarter the Falcons would pad their lead with a FG halfway through 20-16. On the ensuing kickoff TY Hilton fumbled and the Colts dove in every direction but towards the ball and the Falcons recovered. The Colts D held serve forcing a FG and Atlanta had a 23-16 lead with 8 minutes left.
Indy moved the ball near midfield but was forced to punt pinning the Falcons deep. Matt Ryan made a key mistake and threw a interception giving the Colts great field position. Two plays later Khari Mccown took
A pass from Luck 18 yards for the score tying the game.
The Falcons faced a 3rd down and Ryan had a wide open man just passed the first down marker but threw it ten yards out of bounds forcing a Falcon punt. Indianapolis was able to get into FG range a converted giving them
The lead with 50 seconds left.
On the next drive Ryan found Julio Jones and within 4 plays they were in fg range. After a stop in the middle of the field, the Falcons went up tempo to save their timeout. It looked for a second Ryan had a guy open inside the 10 but the safety stepped in front of the receiver to clinch the game and the Colts first victory of the year.
Gg KnightNoles I got extremely lucky at the end. Gl going forward bud.

Big Win for Big D
Colts edge Jags 12-10
Indianapolis was able to get their second win of the season in rather ugly fashion. The game saw some great defense on both sides and offenses unable to sustain drives or find the endzone. The Colts would take a 6-0 lead into halftime as the Jaguars made 2 stops inside the 10, including a first and goal at the 4.
The Jaguars were able to take their first lead of the game in the 3rd quarter off a great 12 yard run by Shoelace Robinson:
The Colts cut the lead to 10-9 after being forced to another redzone FG, after Mccown dropped a TD pass in coverage. The score held until just before the two minute warning when Jacksonville made another redzone stand and the Colts kicked their 4th FG to reclaim the lead 12-10. On the next possession Chad Henne threw his second pick of the day and the Colts picked up a first down and were able to run out the clock.
Gg Hitmhrd72 Always enjoy our games bud. Like I said earlier you mix it up so well on both sides of the ball. Gl going forward and see you in a few weeks.
JETS EDGE BROWNS, GENO HURT
Nick Folk kicks a GW FG in the final seconds
Facing a vaunted Browns secondary, the Jets had hoped Geno and the new set of toys (namely Nicks) would overcome one of the top CB tandems in the league in Haden and Gilbert, but that wasn't the case today. Geno struggled throughout the game to hit his top two targets in Eric Decker and Stephen Hill. Even worse, Geno got destroyed on a play running the read option and was diagnosed with broken ribs and would likely miss 3-4 weeks. In came Tyrod Taylor to come save the day for the Jets.
Amaro gets free for the Jets lone TD
Down 10-3 in the 4th quarter, Taylor would lead the Jets down the field and would fire a 7 yard strike to Jace Amaro to tie the game up 10-10 late in the 4th. "That was such a huge throw by Taylor, especially when he's coming in the game cold," said Rex Ryan.
A huge stop on defense would set up the game winning field goal, which was also aided by a huge 38 yard run by Chris Ivory.
Ivory's 38 yard scamper down the sidelines set up the game winning FG
JETS- 16, BROWNS- 13
JETS DOMINATE MARSHALS, IMPROVE TO 3-0
These two teams met in the preseason and it was a closely contested win for the Jets. But the Jet sideline REALLY wanted the win even in the preseason to boost morale. "There's no giveaway games in the NFL, especially when these teams are all tough nowadays," said Rex Ryan. But Ryan really feels the way they played against the artists formerly known as the Titans, prepped them well for the "rematch" of sorts. The Jets came out firing on all cylinders from the word go.
Amaro skies for the TD
This would be the first game started by backup QB Tyrod Taylor and he would do a solid job, completing 15 of 30 passes for 220 yards, 2 TD's and a pick. But this game was more about the run game and defense which headlined this game.
The new 3 headed monster at tailback rushed for 144 yards on 27 carries, wearing down the Marshalls defense over the course of the game. Rookie RB Randall Hampton really shined though with 61 yards and 2 TD's on the game.
Rookie RB Hampton dives to get a TD
The defense was the other story, led by Calvin Pryor. During the off-season, the coaching staff felt they played Pryor out of position all season and decided to flip-flop the hard hitting safety to his natural SS spot. "We felt he could handle the deep safety out there but we felt we didn't put him in positions to use his athleticism around the LOS and to wreck havoc," continued Rex Ryan. Oddly enough it was his coverage ability that shined today as he had 2 interceptions on the game.
Pryor looks to have found a home at SS with his 2nd INT on the game
Rookie CB Kenyattus Lee had his first interception on the season as well, which he promptly returned for a touchdown. Welcome to the NFL Lee, which should be the first of many in his career.
