Here's the premise of this. Everyone gets to nominate 1-3 players from their graduating class. After all the nominations are in we will all vote and the top 3 vote getters will get into the HOF which will have in a pinned thread. Throw out career stats, team accolades, player accolades, season stats, records, ratings or anything else that would make that player HOF worthy.

After nominations have been made I'll hold the voting via PM sometime this off-season. Let me know if you have any questions.

I don't have much to put up from this class...But I'll nominate my defensive end Elias Sayre.

Over the last 3 seasons, Sayre amassed 53 tackles for a loss and 30.5 sacks including his junior season where he had 13.5.

I have no idea how to look up whether he was ever all conference or all-american tho. I believe he was in both his sophomore and junior seasons but I don't remember.

As soon as the dynasty advances, won't these stats be gone? If you're going to nominate anybody, better do it quick!

Can't say I'm sad to see Hazel finally graduate.

Do I even need to say anything about James Franklin (assuming he goes pro)? YouTube him.

Yeah the fact that Franklin will spend only one season in this conference is gonna really hurt him

He's the most decorated player in the history of this conference, one and done or not. I'll have to check his records when I get home.

I mean don't get me wrong he's got to get some consideration but I'd like to see who else comes up. The transfer thing will definitely hurt.

Doesn't matter because he told me in private that he'll be returning.

Can't speak for my CUSA coaching brethren, but I'm likely never going to vote or nominate a transfer.

I don't completely agree with this as I think Eastern Michigan's James Jackson is a fine HOF candidate who was a transfer. I even think Franklin has a shot depending on the other other nominees. But again it's hard to vote for a guy with a one year track record as a HOF.

I don't know. For sure no one year wonders. But at this stage of the dynasty, I consider the transfers more as mercenaries than real CUSA HOF material.

Looked through my roster and my best nominees are a sr who is 3rd on my team in receptions and a lineman that has 5 pancakes (and 26 sacks given up). Not really worth nominating but next year I should have some guys as my first recruiting class will be graduating.

I'll add another due to lack of entry's and him going pro.

    DT Garret Larkin #91 Junior 6'2 286
    2011 Freshmen AA 2011 2nd Team AC 2012 Second Team AA 2012 C-USA 1st Team 2013 2nd Team AA 2013 C-USA 1st Team
    80 OVR 75 ACC 89 STR 87 BSH
    94 Tackles 47 TFL 23 Assisted Tackles 19 Sacks 1 TD 9 Deflections 1 FF 3 FR

Was the first :4stars: in the C-USA and was part of the first recruiting class in C-USA Hard4Yards history. Doesn't have gaudy #'s but was playing DT and started all 3 years.

I just think HOF should be something more than stats. If we were voting for conference MVP, I'd vote for Franklin in a heartbeat. But to me, to get in the H4Y Hall of Fame, I want it to be guys that wanted to be here from the beginning. Not players that wanted to go somewhere else and came here because they weren't getting PT at their previous school. Not sure if that makes sense, but that's as best as I can explain it. And if I were going to vote for a transfer, it would probably have tomb somebody that at least came here early and played a few seasons. Kind of like why Terrell Davis isn't in the HOF. Fantastic player and won Super Bowls and MVPs, but he just didn't play long enough to warrant HOF. It may be stupid reasoning , but that's just how I feel about it.

Yeah I completely agree with Cent about the mercenaries thing...But I'm starting to get really pissed of about transfers in general... Snoopy's inability to recruit gets rewarded with a team full of transfers?

And because I can actually recruit, I have yet to land a single transfer? That's some freaking garbage...
