    Great idea for a thread.

    Rutgers freshman making an impact:

    QB Lawrence Montoya - 34/55 780 yds 9 TDs 1 INT
This kid usually got some playing time in the second half when Rutgers had a big lead over an opponent. He doesn't have the ability to escape the pocket like Edwards, but he has an arm like a cannon. Powerful and accurate, he will be turning heads at Rutgers over the next few seasons.

RG Matt Avery - 2 recorded pancakes, 0 sacks allowed
This 6'4" 300 lbs freshman made a huge impact of the offensive line this year, although the way Jay Harris broke tackles, he didn't need much help! He gave Edwards plenty of time in the pocket on pass plays, and the Scarlet Knights just hope he stays all four years.

To be continued... (wanted to save what I had so far)
