    HEISMAN SLIDER TEST SET

Credit Drifterbub for these. After doing some looking around and some thinking I have only had the interception problem in two games. That's an extremely small sample to utilize as the main reasoning for starting on AA.

I will test these and post my results. If you test them, please post your results as other have in the thread linked above. It's the least we can do for Drfiter taking the time to churn this set out for us and save us the time of finding a good starting point.

I will ultimately make the best decision for the league on what difficulty and sliders we will start with for season one. Notice the speed threshold is set to ZERO. If you don't test these and don't post your results, please don't complain about the final choice. Thanks guys. :)

I just took a shit on the Hokies. I went 19-24 threw for 258 yards 3 TD's and 2 Int's(both on bad reads). Rushed for 100+ yards. The speed being slow and on 0 isn't bad at all. If your guy is fast he runs fast, if he is slow well you better believe he is slow as shit lol. Love the sliders.

There has been more testing done with I peench sliders. Both sliders play well. Main difference is the normal game speed. Which I actually like.

Just clarifying, you prefer NORMAL over SLOW speed?

Yea. Dont get me wrong I have played slow. I just think it takes less skill to do the movements and animations. I like the speed threshold around 30-35.

The main reason for this from what I've been able to gather is the corner's playing off so much. Lowering the speed threshold to 0 really removes the CBs getting burnt because they are giving a 5 yard cushion. IRL, it's not something you can consistently take advantage of which is the case with the game on default speed. Having played both and preferring a middle ground, do you agree or disagree with that sentiment?

I'm trying to get opinions because I've been too busy to log as much experience as I'd like. Thanks.

The CB in the game give a standard 10 yard cushion. The issue people are having is user controlled movements in the secondary. They are struggling to make the swat and easy interceptions of the past. Throwing the ball deep isnt overly efficient however it is much tougher to defend in past seasons. The main difference between the two is the fact that on slow it is much easier perhaps to easy to swat and strafe INT and basicly eliminate the deep ball altogether. On Normal it is much tougher to make that play and requires much more skill on both ends

Good analysis. Honestly I'll have to try both before giving an opinion of any value. Stay tuned.

I have prolly played about 10 games on slow and about 20 on normal. After awhile on Normal it gets much easier to do things. I thought you saw more animations on slow but im seeing them on Normal now as well as my timing and placement improve. iBleedOrange247 had a great youtube video about user catching and such. Maybe he could post the link

I haven't had a problem besides user catching with the default sliders but i also haven't tried adjusting them or playing on slow speed.

Just played a regular heisman game

Overall it was a decent game. I out 28-7 and UCF came back something fierce. I had to score with 2:57 left to win the game. My team was way better. I Peench slider set plays much better

    Category OKSU UCF
    Score 35 28
    First Downs 18 17
    Total offense 451 389
    Rushes yards 33-153 26-95
    Pass 16-25-298 21-26- 294
    3rd down 3-7 42% 4-9 44%
    Turnovers 0 1
    TOP 14:05 13:54

It's going to be embarrassing when the Hokies head into their locker room with an L..

    Few new things

First I guess the speed threshold does not affect much. Check OS forums there is a big article.

Second. I have played a few games with reg heisman settings. While the games are winnable they are very tough even vs average schools. I often see a few bs plays. I have played about 10 games with peenchs setting I feel this plays a much cleaner game while still being tough. Again this is my opinion. I like heisman and peench settings. I would be fine with either.
