Proposed Heisman Test Sliders.....I propose people try these sliders vs the cpu and post impressions.

    Code:
    OFFENSE HUM CPU
    QB Acc 40 45
    Pass Block 60 35
    WR Catch 20 25
    RB Ability 45 45
    Run BLock 50 45

    DEFENSE HUM CPU
    Aware 50 45
    Knockdown 20 60
    Int 10 0
    Break Blk 55 45
    Tackle 50 45

    ST
    all 50

I played Utah and was winning 49-10 with 2:30 left in 3rd quarter. The defense was quicker and more reactive to plays but still
    very burnable.

Playing On Defense I felt the cpu QB was making good reads and it sometimes hard to stop but they always do that high lob ass that I user
picked twice and way too many QB draws.

I can see a small difference but not much.....these sliders sort of favor the human.......but since so many of us are very
iffy on this move to Heisman this should make much more like AA as we ease into Heisman. Try them out and let me know.

I have a feeling playing tougher CPU teams will be much tougher.........as they should. This mght be a nice base to start from and tweak as the seaosn moves along.

    stats
QB PSU - 13/24 288 yds 3 tds and 1 int that was a underthrown ball on a crossing route.
    HB PSU - 21 carries for 197 yardss and 3 tds....9.3 ypc

QB UTAH - 16/21 128 yds 2 ints (off lob passes)
    HB UTAH - 14 carries for 55 yds 1TD
    QB UTAH - 8 carries 25 yds

OK girls i just Beat Fresno State 56-42....I was down 24-7 in the first off 2 terrible throws by my Freshman QB.......ugh. I have the replays and will upload. We will see more Robo CPU QB here.......but you have to call good defenses......if you call the wrong de the cpu will pick you apart......you have to find ways to confuse him on certain situations......it is good b/c they were so bad on heisman.

1 glaring problem I had was my ability to run..I torched them fro 333 yards with williams....in the tackles and outside. We might need to adjust RB or RA....lets see how the rest of the league does....the star backs might have a field day as the medicore ones might stuggle. Overall i liked it as I needed to be careful with the ball.....it wasnt like AA but again it wasnt really all the different. Fresno St was ranked #25.

I also see the CPU killer Bruce beat USF 70-3 just like AA.......so you guys should not be afraid of this but be aware.

I don't think the RB sliders should be adjusted because the star backs beast

They should be beasting teams just as long as the average ones play that way....average

I'm encouraged that you was down 24-7 though...you'd never see that on AA

Damn this bye week for week 1

I scrimmaged Auburn with the league sliders. Won 32-26 in the rain and with my starting RB going out for the season on the first play of the game. But I have 3 other backs that are almost identical to him so I didn't skip a beat. I through 2 bad INTs, one that I scratch my head on. forced 2 INTs, one returned for a TD for 101 yards. I put about 115 yards on the ground and around 290 in the air.

That game was #10 vs #18 (I think) and pretty competetive.

    That's encouraging Kinger

Nothing glaring happened that made you feel you were a victim of Heisman BS?

I really don't care about the CPU games. I want to see what happens user to user.

Against users, you don't even notice the difference in levels.....maybe a few less broken tackles on Heisman, but basically plays the same

Human vs Human games you should see a touch more pass rush and a touch more good DB coverage in man to man type situations.

With the sliders as we currently have them, I had a seemingly easy game against West Virginia.

However, they 1) run the horrible QB option keepers all game 2) have no team speed whatsoever. How they stayed anywhere near us is beyond me but the game didn't seem unfair.

The only complaint I had is that I like to play DE and I didn't break a pass block ONE TIME during this entire game. And that's not an exaggeration. I usually am able to break the first block around 10 times in a game on pass rushes and from that I get maybe 1 sack manually. This time not once. But I don't wanna change break block too much because then that would hurt a currently very good CPU running game. So I think if/when we tweak them we should really consider cpu pass block.

So for week 3 we should bump HUM Break block to 60 and drop CPU Pass Block to 30.

Or maybe just drop the CPU pass Block.........what you guys think?

I think move 1 at a time. Rather than both

did we ever make these changes? just played miami and had no pass rush the entire game. also, what is cpu interceptions at? seems like they're flying all over the field.

I haven't made these changes. I will make a change tonight and post it here, and unless Ryno vetos it we'll try it. I just beat Oklahoma so I know these sliders aren't nearly too DIFFICULT and in fact we eventually probably want them a tad more difficult, but yeah, it would be nice to have a pass rush. Would like the cpu running game to be a tad better. Thoughts on that? I also feel fine about CPU interceptions so far, I think I've thrown 2 through three games.

Well... What kind? Blitzing? In a user game I had quite a bit of pass rush but against the cpu, when manually going DE vs. T, I get almost nothing.

yea.. just make sure to modify CPU sliders if we feel the user v user are getting solid results.

I usually blitz with my FS/SS...manually I've gotten to the QB more than I did last year on AA...but as well, my LB's been getting to the QB quicker too and my DT is getting tons of pressure...this was against Oklahoma and FSU...two pretty good barometers...

without the blitz, i've been getting good pressure too...

That's a good point. Early indicators are that the user v. user games are nearly perfect. I'll make sure not to change our side.
