    I need someone(s) to go through a few available, crappy rosters and break them down into numbers. For example:

    POS FR SO JR SR
    QB 59 66 73
    HB 58 57 67 79
    FB 62
    WR 45 63 57 56 72 71 73

    etc

    Who has some time on their hands? It'll only be a few rosters, use the eyeball test first. We need a good 3 or 4 of them to use as templates.

    Just cross out the teams with cal, tx, or fl pipelines and you'll probably have your templates.

    So, how do we name these rosters? Unless we take the roster of the team we are removing. We can autoname them but that will autoname everyone.

    On the teambuilder site it gives you the option to auto-name your roster. I think I already did this for most of mine.

    This might be a rather insane idea, but hear me out..

    I did some digging with the current pipelines on the current rosters..

    Akron -> Ohio, PA, NJ
    BC -> Mass, NJ, Ohio, Fla, Penn, NY, Ill
    Maryland -> MD, VA, NC, GA, NJ, NY
    Temple -> PA, NJ, VA, MD, NY

    What if for the first three or four years or so, all we did was the recruiting? We set up rules where we try to get the pipelines adjusted the way that we want based on the locations that we're looking at. Then we start actually playing after we get most of these new rosters set up with the recruiting. Then we all "pretend" that we actually started as coaches in like 2015.

    I'd rather not because, for all we know, this file could break on us in season 6. It's all just so unknown. But it's an idea.

    Just a thought, would there be any way you can rework the teams we'll be replacing to get the 'weakest' players in the best positions, pipeline wise?

    I'd rather not recruit for 3/4 seasons before playing.

    If you replace the teams in the order that I suggested before that will allow you to maintain the rivalries. Then what we will want to do is set each of the rosters for our 12 teams with the rosters/pipelines of each of the teams that we're replacing to do that. Below I'm going to list each of the 12 teams starting ratings and also their pipelines:

    Arkansas State -> 74/76/72 (Ar, Al, Tn, Fl, Ms, Tx) Will lose Fl, Ms, Tex after Year 1 [222]
    Buffalo -> 63/61/64 (NY, Fla, MD, Tx, Oh, Pa) Will lose Md, Tx, Pa after Year 1 [188]
    FAU -> 69/69/67 (Fl) [205]
    FIU -> 70/75/67 (Fl) [212]
    La Tech -> 77/76/76 (La, Tx, Ca, Ms) [229]
    MTSU -> 72/73/70 (Ga, Fl, Tn, Ca, Al) Will Lose Ca After Year 1 [215]
    N. Texas -> 69/72/66 (Tx, Ca) [207]
    Temple -> 75/78/73 (Pa, NJ, VA, MD, NY) [226]
    Troy -> 80/81/79(Al, Fl, Ga) [240]
    ULL -> 69/78/69 (La, Fla, Tx, Miss) [216]
    ULM -> 70/73/69 (La, Tx, Ms, Ok, Al, Ar) [212]
    WKU -> 69/70/66 (Fl, KY, Ga, Tn, In) [205]

    So based on just current roster(which could be adjusted by just reducing some skill numbers overall):
    1. Troy
    2. La Tech
    3. Temple
    4. Arkansas State
    5. ULL
    6. MTSU
    7. FIU
    8. ULM
    9. N. Texas
    10. WKU
    11. FAU
    12. Buffalo

    Keep in mind that you can replace the teams in the system based on what we did from before and then in Teambuilder just give the appropriate roster to that designed team.
    I'll let our recruiting experts chime in on the pipelines.

    Just for the record, I never thought about it quite from this perspective.. The Ivy League truly does get people from across the entire country despite the fact that they don't have scholarships. So I suppose it really isn't the end of the world to have these instead of just focusing on the Northeast.

    Minor problem though, that'll probably make recruiting a lot easier. Seems like we'll want to set up some recruiting rules to start off.

    It is ironic that you can actually change all of the hometowns for the teams that are in the game but can't do it at all with the teambuilder squads..

    TheCrumbIsHere I'm not sure I follow all of that correctly. You can replace Harvard with Troy and still give them San Jose State's roster.

    That's precisely what I meant. Now the only thing I'm beginning to wonder... is that even with that new roster, does it actually correspond the pipelines with that roster or does it actually have give you the pipelines of the team that you replaced(if they are different).

    I'm almost certain its the roster that corresponds with the pipeline. IIRC when I tried this before I has San Jose's roster for Cornell, Replaced Boston College with Cornell, and ended up with a CA pipeline

    I think somebody in H4Y may have actually used this exact avatar before. It struck me as really familiar.
