    Hey You Guys!!!

What's up? I just bought a XBox360 yesterday and this game came with it. I ran a couple laps online and really didn't like racing randoms. Like one guy had a super fast car (well alot faster than mine) and got a kick outta spinnin' people out. It was really frustrating.

Well anyway I have a couple questions about the game because it didn't come with a manual. Do I have to play offline to collect credits for cars? I like tuning/modding whips and a little confused about the process. I tried offline but I couldn't race in most races because I didn't own the right car. Went online and got my ass handed to me repeatedly. My other question is if anyone races on days besides race nights? I probably will never be able to make a Wednesday race night but will stay up late to wheel on the weekends. I really want to get some cars first.... no Nissan WTF Over?!

Jeez Jay I think Del helps out to be nice, not so that his name gets called every time somebody needs free credits, lmao....

Just spend some time with the game jerzey, get into career mode and have at it for a few days... If you love the game you will make enough credits to buy a few cars. If you don't...

And yeah somebody here will probably help you if you show up and race a few times, add us to your GT...

Hey I am around ish lol. Sorry guys the heat here at the mo has made both Helen and I exhausted so we have been sleeping a lot. I am very sorry about missing the races this week I was gutted when I woke up n realised what had happened.
I am more than happy to help anyone who is connected to tradition as all you guys have been so good to me since I was allowed to join you. I will always help with info etc and in cases where I feel the person is looking to be a serious racer with us I will help with the odd car n cash etc etc when I am in a position to do so. My advice is to a decent tune on a couple of cars and move them up and down the classes and do the races you can with them and build up you bank balance which in turn will enable you to expand your garage. A good base tune should be able to run well with a few different builds n classes etc. The career can be expensive to do if you rush out and keep buying new cars. Try and utilise the cars you have as much as possible and spend your money wisely (never thought I would say that lol). I think if I started from scratch now I would do things differently in that try to develop cars for the crreer that you think will be good for online racing. I would aim for a good Subaru WRX AWD, and a Ferrari F40 RWD and maybe a Lotus Elise RWD and make them for as many classes as possible. For the lower classes take a look around and again utilise a couple of cars for more than 1 class as you probably wont use these a lot when you go racing online. Both Helli and I have similar views in that the build is the most important thing the tune is a fine tune thing that you use to bring the car a little more to your driving style. As everyone knows I have a weird driving style however I try to get all my cars to be consistant and not unpredictable and aim to bring the cars a to me as much as possible as I feel when I have to change the way I drive to suit a car it takes me out of my comfort zone etc. It also makes it that bit more awkward to go from car to car. The final bit of advice the Sugar Daddy can give is a fastest lap followed by the slowest lap isnt great in my eyes regular consistant laps is where its at for me also if you mess up a turn 1 turn wont ruin your race. Patience is always good cos if your pace is good it will nearly always pay off in the end. I hope this helps please feel free to message me etc for any other info or help you may need.

The other reason I am always happy to help Tradition guys with Forza is we have a great group of guys and I would like our numbers to grow a little and maybe get back to 2 full lobbies running on race nights and I would like to see the Forza side of Tradition become a little more than an add on. Sorry guys but hey it's my view lol. You see us Brits dont get NCAA or Baseball and I love your company so much I don't want what we got here to die out lol.
May the Forza be with you

Thx for all the love. Not lookin' for a handout tho, no offense. I wanna earn anything I handle. Just need some pointers here and there I guess. Once I figure out the friend request system on the 360 I'll send the requests, lol. After a couple of NCAA league games I'm probably going to play this most of the weekend and hopefully have a decent whip soon.

I'm strongly considering picking this game up this week. I have no issues racing offline for awhile to build my $$$ and cars up. I love nascar and I know a little bit about cars, However I worry that the tuning is going to be WAY over my head. Racing nights are no problem for me... I'm sure I'll be battling at the back of the pack, since most of you seem like elitist with this game.... For now at-least.

Don't worry about tunning. you can buy tunes from other players. even a cars that only upgraded and has default tuning is good enough to race with us. Learn the tracks and be consistent and you will be good enough to hang.

I still can't tune for shit. i also used to be better. i spanked everyone in forza 2 until helli learned all the tracks and a few others learned to tune. now im in the middle of the pack but i still love racing with these guys.

Do you guys have certain cars that you race? I just picked up a Fairlady/350z (sorry I'm a Nissan Guy Fo' Life, lol) and was wondering what type of cars you guys wheel during races.

*Still learning tracks, if I just drive I have 'em down with no problem. If I "race" on 'em I start f'n up.

we can be in anything. but we have also started all running in the same car/tune to keep it close. well that was the logic behind it, still got the same at the front and rear but just not as far and it only takes a small mistake from somebody and your back in the mix

recently we have all been running the same cars. when we do race with anything goes, we all usually have different cars. as far as the fairlady, I think I am the only one that uses one. I had two of them in forza 2 that were my go to cars. the one i have right now pretty much sucks. doesnt feel the same. I should make a new one.

Just got it today.... I've read thru some of the advice given in this thread and hopefully I can get to a respectable level sometime soon so I can join you fellows on Wednesdays or any other time. I'm about to go tackle Career Mode for awhile now.
