Welcome to the Hard Knocks Draft Board Insider Today we will look at the top 5 rated players that are going to be in the next Hard Knocks Draft. Quarterback Jack "Grand" Canyon - Michigan State 6'2" 242lbs Jack is the top rated Quarterback coming out next draft, and he currently is the Heisman front runner. Canyon has led Michigan State to a 6-0 start on the season, with deciding games versus Michigan and Ohio State left on the schedule. Jack has a similar game to Troy Aikman or Dan Marino, and he will struggle with spread offenses. However with a nickname like Grand, this kid is MONEY. Defensive Tackle Jerron Stovall - Utah 6'3" 275lbs Stovall has been playing the 4-3 defense since his days in High School. He is a bull in the middle that will fight his way to the quarterback. The kid has a motor, and Jerron has showed it by recording 7 sacks so far this season. Stovall will be able to fit right into any defense, 4-3 or 3-4 Defensive End Lefi Evans - UTEP 6'3" 257lbs Lefi Evans is a MONSTER. Not in size but in skills. Evans leads the NCAA in sacks so far this season, and is on pace to rival the numbers of some of the greats in NCAA history. Lefi is quick off the ball and has a great move at the line of scrimmage. While he is lacking in a few things, there would be nothing wrong with drafting Lefi Evans. Left Tackle Ethni Okafor - USC 6'6" 339lbs Okafor was recruited by Lane Kiffin, and it seems he has flourished under that style of offense. His style resembles that of another USC Offensive Tackle that was drafted a few years ago, Tyron Smith. His build and the way he explodes off the line of scrimmage show that this is a can't miss pick. Halfback Lakrious Latta - Oregon State 6'2" 204lbs I would have never advised drafting a Halfback in the first round, until I saw Lakrious Latta on film. His size alone has other scouts drooling over what he can become. Latta has quickly moved into the top 5 on this board and he is in the top 5 Heisman candidates in the nation. While he does not lead in rushing yards, Latta leads the NCAA in touchdowns. Lakrious will be a hot commodity come draft time.
