    Hobbies outside of NCAA

What do you do with your spare time outside of TF?

Any Hunters or Fishermen? Basket Weavers? World class German Shepard Trainers?

    Post it up.

For me it's tournament Paintball, more notably, Texas A&M Paintball:

I'm a big time gambler, sports betting, poker and casinos. Go to AC or Vegas about once a month for a poker tournament or a big sports event to bet on

Other than that, I pitched thru high school and college and played football in high school. In the process I tore my rotstor cuff, both knees, and dislocated my hip, so my sports days are over. Hit the gym thou as often as possible.

    Drink a lot If that's a hobby

And other video games mostly ootp and now whatifsports baseball. They are Sim style baseball games, all stats and text based driven. Basically dungeons & dragons for baseball fans but a lot of fun and have probably been playing ootp as long as NCAA

    Skiing, baseball, Mets, Virginia Tech.

I like reading if that counts, but I was an english major in college, ha.

I love baseball, and usually go to NYC every summer to see the Mets play.

I love anything outdoors really, especially skiing. try to go just about every weekend or every other weekend, since my season pass doesn't work on Saturdays until march i can only go on Sundays.

Well most of my time is taken up by me doing my music and trying to become signed...

www.myspace.com/newwavemos if anyone is interested in hearing me...I'm the singer BTW.

Other than that, during HS I played baseball...notably 1B and OF...love playing bball when it gets warm enough.

I use to draw real well...don't do it as much but it's something I'll never lose.

As far as on the computer, I also play in a few OOTP leagues and I like that kinda stuff as well.

My fav teams are the Mets, Jets, Nets and Devils...so pretty much I like torture.

My family is my first hobby.

I still like to play football and basketball when I can and dont get hurt.

Video games in general are crack for me till this day been playing since the first console.

The lake and water sports (anything with sunshine). I also like booze.

Figuring out different ways to annoy my wife.

I love to golf whenever I get the chance. I'm pretty bad though, just starting to break 95 pretty consistently.

I have the swing but not the hand-eye coordination to constantly make crisp contact.

Other than that I probably need more hobbies. My wife contends that this ISN'T a hobby, because by her (rather sound) reasoning, anything you do constantly isn't a hobby, it's an obsession. Nice.

There is life outside of NCAA?????

i played college hoops at Slippery Rock.... now i coach basketball ( even though my team sucks this year) besides that, i play with my sons ( Braeden 3, Parker 6 months)

i dont do much else..... coaching and my kids take up all the free time i have besides the time i spent on NCAA.... i live a fun dull life....lol....i used to play poker pretty heavily, i still play occasionally.... and i am a moderate gambler on the nba.... through my neighborhood bookie and through tradesports.com even though it takes damn near two weeks to get your money if you win which sucks (fuck Bush)

    sidenote: my favorite team......

My wife actually said (just two days ago).

"I hope one day I wake up and you're just not playing games anymore. It's the only thing we fight about!"

I said Ok honey I'm gonna start going out with the guys on the weekend and getting shitfaced, and then trying to drive home and kill somebody, and you can come pay my bail and we'll have a few months with a LOT of face to face time and no video games before I get put in the slammah.

If its not this its another thing........the key is they want attention all the time......anything that takes away from that is frowned upon.........unless you making money at it.

My girlfriend works nights which works out great for my gaming habit at night.........but she wants to move to days.......it will cut in. Nice to see her more but could lead to more bitching.

I have been married and known my wife for so long that we dont really even talk about it anymore.

You get into a groove so to speak where you each have things you do that seperate you from the same ole same ole. IMO you gotta have your own stuff to do or you will get sick of each other.

I play video games and always have, she watches soaps and reality tv...gawd awful stuff. We do tons of things together still...but heck its winter time and we are stuck inside our home together...I dont really like watching tv and she doesnt play games outside of the singing ones..works out nice.. :bangnana:

Sometimes she makes fun of me because of the amount of NCAA I have played but it just replaced Madden for me....but all I have to say is... " Isnt the bachelor on?"

Thanks to God my Family comes first, I love my wife and my 3 month old son.

My hobbies outside NCAA is coach all sports at my junior high. Love to weight lift, play football, baseball, basketball, soccer and enjoy hanging out with my brothers at sporting events.

I played baseball in College, went to a Division 1 school and pitched (California State University, Northridge). For those who follow college baseball we were in the Big West Conference and played the likes of Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State. The cool thing that happened last year was the College World Series, where Fresno State won it all. The Head Coach for the Bulldogs was my Head Coach at Northridge, so it was a very exciting time for me watching the team play and brought back a lot of memories because that was the kind of team we were.

And lastly my wife and I met in Las Vegas so we do travel a lot there to see her friends and by the way it is the "Happiest Place on Earth". Love it when she says lets go visit my friends, HeHeHe!!!

It's funny and glad that I'm not the only one who hears about that damn F-- game. Her favorite line is, "I should have never bought you that damn-stupid-white box". Thanks again for not letting me be the only one that hears it.

LOL, funny hearing about women. My girlfriend (8 years now) says the same thing. however, she is used to it now, and as long as I don't play it non-stop she's fine. we do things together, but like Bruce said, we have our own time. Grad school for me takes up a ton, and she's doing an Internship before starting grad school in the fall.

glad to see some fellow mets fans on board.

you guys should check out metsblog.com - my favorite mets site - that and NYFS (a message board I post on for the mets)

I spend alot of time at church functions... services, community groups, baptisms etc... actually looking to get into the ministry at some point, just not sure where or how. Contemplating attending Seminary in the fall but i might just go to Dallas Baptist University instead. Lots to think about on that front.

Been married for 6 years in May, and have a 3 year old boy (turns 3 on 3/21) and a 4 1/2 year old girl, and they are the light of my life and keep me VERY busy as you can imagine. Im taking my little girl on her first date to a Daddy/Daughter dance tomorrow night. Gonna do it up with dinner and all that good stuff.

I lettered 3 years in baseball in high school as a pitcher and 3rd base.. love me some hot corner. I threw 3 no-hitters in one season and got some regional pub, but i was too interested in beer and blunts at 18 to be dedicated enough to take it any higher.. plus my HS coach hated me for the above said reasons and im sure helped ward off any college scouts higher than JUCO.

As you know, i love online football gaming and have paired that love with my information technology aptitude to create pretty cool leagues for the last 9 years and have developed alot of nice friendships along the way.

Other than that.. im a Dallas Cowboys die hard, love the TAMU Aggies as if my life depended on it and watch the Mavericks pretty intensly because im a huge Dirk fan.

I also played baseball and football in High school. Right field and I also closed games. I was more of a hitter than a fielder, though. I hit .430 my senior year with 3 triples, 10 doubles, and I can't remember my slug, but it was up there. I played QB up until my junior year, had to quit because of concussions. Still play a lot of intramurals here at A&M.

So that leaves me with my mistress in paintball. I'm a dorito player and team captain here at A&M. I also have a girlfriend of just over seven years, but she is into her online stuff as well. She understands that NCAA and Paintball is what keeps me sane while I'm in engineering school.
