There are 2 candidates this year:

    USC OLB John Jenkins

    {picture to be posted}

    Career stats:
    122 tackles
    94 TFL
49.5 sacks (USC career record - 4.5 behind NCAA career record)
    1 INT
    9 deflections
    5 FF
    5 FR
    6 Defensive TD's

    Awards:
    3 time 1st team All-American
Won 2013 Nagurski, Lombardi and Best LB award
Finished top 3 in voting for 2012 and 2014 Best LB award
Tied for NCAA single season record for sacks (24)

The case for John Jenkins - Well, the kid started from day 1 on campus, and in 3 seasons terrorized QB's in the Pac-12. His performance in user games illustrates the impact he made on the game, especially considering that prior to my last two games of 2014, I never controlled him on defense. Coming off the edge like a missile, he made opposing teams gameplan their blocking around trying to keep him out of the backfield. He will be missed....

User game stats (missing some from season 2 due to file implosion and some from season 4 due to user game disconnects):
    2012
    vs Stanford (31-7 W) - 2 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 sacks
    vs PSU (20-17 W) - 1 tackle, 1 INT, 1 TD
    vs Cal (31-10 W) - 2 tackles, 1 sack

    2013
    vs MSU (31-7 W) - 5 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 sack
    vs WSU (28-0 W) - 3 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack
    vs Arizona (34-6 W) - 5 tackles, 3 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD
    vs UCLA (42-7 W) - 2 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 FR, 1 TD
    vs Stanford (27-6 W) - 4 tackles, 3 TFL, 3 sacks, 1 FF

    2014
    vs Iowa (31-7 W) - 3 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack, 1 FR, 1 TD
    vs UCLA (38-7 W) - 5 tackles, 3 TFL, 2.5 sacks
    vs Stanford (24-8 W) - 6 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 sack, 1 FR, 1 TD

Jenkins - Yes but he is still a whore
    Jones - No

Can't go off one year, otherwise I would have thrown Jordan James up here, and he wasnt worthy.

Paul Jones is eliminated from consideration with 4 'no' votes.

I vote 'yes' for Jenkins, in case anyone had any doubts.

I'll get a picture posted tomorrow if I have to put in NCAA to advance tonight. Emphasis on the 'if'.

I would be much obliged if you did advance, because then I could get my week 3 game in before flying out to your place, and not have to worry about the week four showdown with recchem until i get home sunday night

The advance isn't in my hands - talk to anyone who has a game left to play. If everyone is done I'll jump on and advance tonight after I get home.
